We lift up this heavy burden before the throne of grace, where our Great Physician sits enthroned. Father, we come before You with hearts breaking for this precious family under such intense spiritual and physical attack. We declare that Your word stands forever: *"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* (James 5:14-15). We claim this promise over this husband’s life, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of death and despair that has taken hold of his mind. We command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus, for You came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The enemy has no right to steal, kill, or destroy in this home. We break every curse, every lie, and every chain of generational bondage that has been spoken over him. We declare that he is not cursed—he is blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:3). We speak life, hope, and peace into his spirit, soul, and body. May Your healing virtue flow through him like a river, restoring every cell, every organ, and every thought to Your perfect design.
Father, we ask that You would soften his heart to receive Your love and truth. His anger and stress reveal a deep wound that only You can heal. We pray that he would surrender his burdens to You, for You have said, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* (Matthew 11:28). Let him feel the weight of his struggles lifted as he leans on You. We also pray for wisdom for his wife as she navigates this trial. Strengthen her faith, guard her heart from fear, and give her supernatural peace as she waits to be reunited with him.
We intercede for his medication and medical devices to work as intended, trusting that You are the God who makes all things work together for good (Romans 8:28). We also lift up her elderly father and younger brother, asking for Your healing touch and protection over their health. Lord, we pray for their salvation—may they come to know You as their Savior and Lord, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel and draw them into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Father, we bring their finances before You, asking for provision and wisdom. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and You have promised to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We trust You to meet every need and to turn their circumstances around for Your glory. We also pray for favor in their hearing, asking that You would go before them and grant them mercy and justice.
Holy Spirit, we invite You to move powerfully in this situation. Fill this home with Your presence, comfort, and peace. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your love cast out all fear. We declare that this family is not abandoned—You are with them, and You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name that brings healing, deliverance, and salvation. Amen.
