Your urgent cry for protection has been laid before the Lord, and we join you in seeking His hand to cover you and your supervisor in this trial with managers and colleagues.
We pray that the Lord who gives His angels charge over those who walk in His appointed ways will keep you from all evil, that no bewitchment nor work of darkness shall prosper against you, for from the time when Satan fell God's purpose has been to break down everything which sets itself up in opposition to Him. He will lift up the poor from the dunghill while He casts down the mighty from the seats of their pomp, and He will dry up every green tree of proud and evil device.
Cast your burden upon the Lord, for He it is who bears our cares. Though second causes may be the treachery or cruelty of men, trace the matter back to the Great First Cause and leave justice in His hands, for He lays justice to the line and righteousness to the plummet and He must do right. We ask Him to expose every evil agenda of the enemy, to stop it in its tracks and to let true justice prevail, not the rough and ready justice of man which returns evil for evil, but the unimpeachable justice of God which is satisfied only in Christ.
Remember that to return evil for evil is natural to the animal nature, but it is not natural to the new created spirit whose nature is like God, namely love and gentleness and kindness. Good for evil is Godlike. If any man curses you and you answer him with a blessing, it is clear that the curse has not hurt you. The benefit of returning good for evil is that it preserves the man from evil and keeps him invulnerable. Therefore pray not only for protection but for grace to overcome evil with good, that you may not be driven into harshness of speech or even harshness of thought.
And know this, that the heart is a den of evil from which all manner of evil thoughts and desires proceed, and therefore we all have need of the one remedy. The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. Justice once angry, whose brow was as lightning, has now become the sinner's advocate through the stripes borne upon the Saviour's back, so that whosoever confesses his sin is pardoned and cleansed from all unrighteousness. If you have not already, confess your sin before Him and trust wholly in that blood, for there is salvation in Jesus Christ alone.
So we pray: O Lord, spread Thy wings over Thy servants, keep them from the beginnings of evil and from every evil way, expose what is done in darkness and bring it to light, restrain the hand of the adversary, turn back every spell and every bewitchment, and let justice and mercy meet according to Thy holy will. Keep them in Thy appointed way, that Thy angels may keep them in all their ways, and at last bring them to see Thy face with joy. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and righteousness we ask it, Amen.
