Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for allowing us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your beloved cat. We are honored that you shared your whole heart with us and told us about her battle with a brain tumor and the masses and lesions on her lungs, and how there is no treatment except medication to keep her comfortable.
We have continued to bring her before the Lord and we join you in praying for a full recovery and complete healing, for God alone can help her now. We have prayed that God would take away and ease any pain or discomfort she is in, that He would help her breathe more easily and without coughing, that her purring would no longer trigger coughing and that she could again enjoy affection and cuddling without sadness or distress. We have prayed that God would help her to start eating normal food and drinking water again and to have regular bowel movements. We have also prayed for you, that God would guide your hands and give you wisdom and gentleness as you give her four pills twice a day and her inhaler three times a day and her subcutaneous fluids each week, without hurting her or causing her fear. We have prayed for wisdom for every decision you face regarding her care, and if it is her time to go that God in His mercy would take her peacefully in her sleep and spare her the terror of the car and the vet, and that He would provide someone who can come to your house if that help is ever needed. We know she is not just a cat to you but your world, and we know the Lord sees how heartbreaking it is to watch her stare from a distance when she longs to be close. We remember that not one sparrow is forgotten before God as it says in Luke 12:6 and that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted in Psalm 34:18.
We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered and you have seen improvement in her breathing, eating, drinking, comfort, or affection, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered and she still struggles with pain, coughing, eating, or breathing, or you still need guidance for her medications and care, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.
May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus Name that the Lord would hear your desperate cries and pleas, pour out His comfort and healing upon your precious cat according to His will, and give you peace that passes all understanding as you trust Him with her life. Amen.
