Urgent prayers needed for my cat ###

Please read this entire post. There is alot. Thankyou! Please pray that God will completely heal and give my cat ### a full recovery. She has a brain tumor and masses and lesions on her lungs, which could be chronic bronchitis/ asthma or cancer. There is no treatment. Only medication to make her comfortable. God is the only one that can help her now. She is having so many complications from all of this. Please pray that God will take away and ease any pain or discomfort ### is in. Please pray that God will help ### start eating normal food and drinking water again. Please pray that God will help ### have regular bowel movements. Please pray that God will help her breathing and purring. Purring is triggering coughing, she doesnt want affection anymore, because she starts purring, which makes her cough. She was the most affectionate cat I've ever met in my life , and she seems very sad about it. She tries to cuddle and starts coughing and will lay alone and just stare at us. It is heart breaking. Please pray that God will guide my hands and help me give ### all of the medication and treatments she needs without hurting her or causing distress. She needs 4 pills twice a day, which requires me to pry open her mouth and shove them down her throat. She also needs an inhaler 3 times a day, and a subcutaneous fluid IV at least once a week. Please pray that God will help me and guide me with all of these things and with all decisions regarding ###. Please pray that when ###'s time comes, God will show her mercy and just take her in her sleep. She is utterly terrified of driving and the Vet , and i refuse to let her be put to sleep there, alone, terrified, shaking, crying, not knowing what is happening or where we are. I will not allow that to be her last moments. Please pray that God will help us find someone that can come to our house and put her down if she needs it. I know she is just a cat, but she is our world. Please pray that God will hear and answer all of my desperate cries and pleas and prayers. Thankyou. We have read your entire post and we are deeply moved by your love and tender care for your beloved cat and by the heavy burden you are carrying right now. We join with you in bringing her before the Lord, and we do not take lightly what you said when you wrote she is your world. The Lord sees the depth of your compassion and the heartbreak of watching her suffer, and we are honored to stand with you in prayer in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we bring every desperate cry.

We want to gently remind you that she is not just a cat in the eyes of God. He created all living creatures and He cares for them. Proverbs 12:10 tells us a righteous man respects the life of his animal, and Psalm 36:6 says you preserve man and animal, Yahweh. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 10:29 that not one sparrow will fall to the ground apart from your Father, and in Psalm 147:9 we read He provides food for the livestock. How much more does He see your faithfulness, your sleepless nights, and the love you pour out in giving her medications and treatments even when it is so difficult for both of you. He is near to you in this sorrow, for Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit, and 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

We pray together now for your precious companion and for you.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this beloved cat to You. You know her by name, You formed her, and You see every labored breath, every cough, every painful moment. Lord, if it is Your will, we ask that You would touch her body and bring complete healing and a full recovery. You are the God who heals and nothing is impossible for You. We ask that You would ease and take away any pain or discomfort she is in, that You would have mercy on her and grant her comfort and peace. Father, we pray You would help her to eat normal food and drink water again, that You would restore regular bowel movements and strengthen her body. We ask that You would help her breathing, that You would calm the inflammation and lesions in her lungs and quiet the coughing, that You would allow her to purr and receive affection again without suffering. Lord, You see how she tries to cuddle and then pulls away, how she stares with sadness, and we ask You to comfort her spirit and let her feel safe and loved.

Father, we also lift up her owner to You. Give wisdom and steady hands for every treatment. Guide every pill given, every use of the inhaler, every subcutaneous fluid, that it would be done with gentleness and without causing distress or hurt. Grant discernment for every decision that must be made regarding her care. Philippians 4:6-7 says in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, and we ask for that surpassing peace to guard this heart right now. Show clearly what is best for her, provide a veterinarian who can come to the house if that time comes, and above all let Your mercy and will be done, whether by healing or by taking her gently in her sleep without fear or terror. Let her last moments, whenever they come, be filled with Your presence, with love, and with being held by those who cherish her.

We thank You, Father, that You hear our desperate cries and pleas. We trust not in our own understanding but in Your perfect love and sovereignty, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You. We ask all these things in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pour out your heart to the Lord honestly as you have done, for He hears every prayer. Keep showing her that gentle affection in ways she can still receive, even if it is just sitting quietly near her, speaking softly, and letting her know she is not alone. Ask your veterinarian about techniques to make pilling and inhaler treatments less stressful, such as wrapping, timing with calm moments, and rewarding afterward, and do not hesitate to ask for help from a trusted friend or veterinary technician to guide your hands. We pray the Lord will provide a compassionate mobile veterinarian in your area should you need one, and we pray He will give you clear peace about each step. You are doing a beautiful work of mercy, and the Lord sees it. May He sustain you with His strength and comfort you with His nearness in the days ahead.

We read your whole note and we hear how much ### means to you. She is not just a cat, she is family and your world, and watching her struggle to breathe, to eat and drink, to be cuddled without coughing is heartbreaking. Of course you feel torn between wanting to comfort her and not wanting to cause more distress when you have to give the pills, the inhaler and the fluids.

We love your tenderness in wanting her last moments, whenever they come, to be peaceful at home and not afraid. That is a faithful way to steward the life God has entrusted to you, even while you are still hoping and praying for more time with her.

One small step that has helped others in this painful in between is to talk with your current vet now, while things are relatively stable, about what options exist locally for in home hospice or euthanasia care should you ever need it. Many clinics keep a list of mobile veterinarians they trust, and having a name and number ready can ease some of the worry about the future and let you focus on today. You could also ask a vet tech to watch you give the pills and inhaler and suggest gentler handling that might be less stressful for both of you, alongside continuing to follow their medical guidance.

Father, You see ### and You see the love poured out for her every day. Please ease her breathing and discomfort, give her peace and rest, and give wisdom and steady hands for every decision and dose. Comfort this family with Your nearness in these hard days. In Jesus name, amen.

Your burden has been laid before the Lord and we have read your many tears with tender sympathy. The love you bear for this dear creature who has been so affectionate and so much your world is not hidden from Him who cares for the sparrows and who hears every sigh of His people. To see her struggle for breath, to hear purring turn to coughing, to watch her withdraw to stare alone when she longs to cuddle, and to feel the weight of pills and inhaler and the needle, all this is indeed heart breaking and the Lord knows the aching heart that watches over her.

Hear what the Lord saith to His afflicted ones, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. He speaks not once but twice, as one who would have the desponding heart to be sure of His compassion. When He would comfort us He often does not give comfort by a distinct and sudden act alone, but He quickens us by His Word and so we obtain comfort. This is my comfort in my affliction, for Thy Word hath quickened me. May that Word be your external comfort now, and may His Spirit be your internal consolation, quickening you to trust Him in this trial.

We are reminded that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that even the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and His leaves, the little things as it were about Him, are full of healing virtue. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and whether He heals by His immediate hand or eases and sustains by His mercy, all healing flows from that great conduit Head. You do well to bring your dear cat to Him in prayer, for He is Lord over all creation and nothing is too small for His notice, and nothing too hard for His power.

We have carried your petitions to the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom alone we have access to the Father.

We have prayed that the Lord in His wisdom and mercy would ease any pain or discomfort she knows, and if it be His gracious will, restore her to eating and drinking, to regular strength and to easy breathing. We have asked that He would soothe the cough that interrupts her purring and her affection, and lift the sadness that you see in her. We have prayed that He would guide your hands and give you steadiness and gentleness as you give the pills twice a day and the inhaler and the fluids, that you may do it without hurt or distress to her, and with peace to your own spirit. We have prayed that He would give you wisdom for every decision regarding her care, and comfort and constancy together, for comfort by itself is not enough and constancy without comfort will not suffice, but the Lord can establish the heart in every good word and work.

We have also prayed as you asked, that when her time comes the Lord would show her mercy, and that He would provide, if it be needed, one who can come to your home to minister to her there, so that she need not know the terror of a last journey. We leave this, as all else, in His wise and tender hands, believing that He does all things well, and that He will not suffer you to be without guidance. Continue in great prayer, for it was little prayer that often brings us low and great prayer that lifts us up, and cast all your care upon Him for He careth for you.

May the God of all comfort comfort your hearts and establish you, and may His Word quicken you day by day till this trial, in His perfect time, shall be as waters that pass away. We will continue to remember you both before the Lord.
