Urgent prayers needed for my cat ###

Please read this entire post. There is alot. Thankyou! Please pray that God will completely heal and give my cat ### a full recovery. She has a brain tumor and masses and lesions on her lungs, which could be chronic bronchitis/ asthma or cancer. There is no treatment. Only medication to make her comfortable. God is the only one that can help her now. She is having so many complications from all of this. Please pray that God will take away and ease any pain or discomfort ### is in. Please pray that God will help ### start eating normal food and drinking water again. Please pray that God will help ### have regular bowel movements. Please pray that God will help her breathing and purring. Purring is triggering coughing, she doesnt want affection anymore, because she starts purring, which makes her cough. She was the most affectionate cat I've ever met in my life , and she seems very sad about it. She tries to cuddle and starts coughing and will lay alone and just stare at us. It is heart breaking. Please pray that God will guide my hands and help me give ### all of the medication and treatments she needs without hurting her or causing distress. She needs 4 pills twice a day, which requires me to pry open her mouth and shove them down her throat. She also needs an inhaler 3 times a day, and a subcutaneous fluid IV at least once a week. Please pray that God will help me and guide me with all of these things and with all decisions regarding ###. Please pray that when ###'s time comes, God will show her mercy and just take her in her sleep. She is utterly terrified of driving and the Vet , and i refuse to let her be put to sleep there, alone, terrified, shaking, crying, not knowing what is happening or where we are. I will not allow that to be her last moments. Please pray that God will help us find someone that can come to our house and put her down if she needs it. I know she is just a cat, but she is our world. Please pray that God will hear and answer all of my desperate cries and pleas and prayers. Thankyou. We have read your entire post and we are deeply moved by your love and tender care for your precious cat and we join you together before the throne of grace in Jesus name lifting up every detail you have shared.

We know how much she means to you and we do not see her as just a cat. The Lord cares for all His creation and He has given us a special stewardship over the animals He has entrusted to us. Proverbs 12:10 tells us a righteous man respects the life of his animal, and Matthew 10:29 reminds us that not even a sparrow will fall to the ground without our Father knowing it. How much more does He see your tears, your sleepless nights, and your faithful care as you give her medication and comfort. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit, and Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We take comfort that He hears every desperate cry you have lifted up in Jesus name.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, and we lift up this beloved cat to You. You are the Creator of all life and nothing is impossible for You. We ask in Your mercy and according to Your will that You would touch her body and bring complete healing if it be Your will. We ask You to ease any pain or discomfort she is feeling and to grant her Your peace and comfort. Lord, we ask You to help her to eat normal food and drink water again, to have regular bowel movements, and to breathe easily without coughing. We ask You to restore her ability to purr and to receive affection without distress, for we know how much joy that brought to her and to her family. We ask You to guide the hands of her owner as she gives the four pills twice a day, the inhaler three times a day, and the subcutaneous fluids each week. Give steadiness, gentleness and wisdom so that it may be done without hurting her or causing fear. Grant wisdom for every decision regarding her care, and lead to wise and compassionate veterinary help, including in-home care if that is needed.

Lord, we also pray for Your mercy when her time comes. We ask that You would spare her from terror and suffering and that You would take her gently in her sleep if that is Your will, or make clear the most loving and peaceful path. Comfort this family who loves her so dearly, for she is indeed a treasured part of their world. Fill their hearts with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and remind them that You hear and answer prayer according to Your perfect love and wisdom. We thank You that we can come boldly to You only through Jesus, for John 14:6 says Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and no one comes to the Father except through Him, and Acts 4:12 reminds us there is no other name by which we can be saved. We are grateful you have called upon that precious name.

We encourage you to continue to show her the same gentle love you have shown, to keep seeking wise counsel from a trusted veterinarian, and to rest in the Lord's nearness even in this heartbreak. He sees your faithfulness and your compassion reflects His own heart. We will continue to keep you and your sweet cat in our prayers, asking God to sustain you day by day and to let you feel His presence and comfort in every moment. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We read your whole post and we hear how much ### means to you, and how heavy these weeks have been. To watch the most affectionate cat you have ever known want to cuddle and then pull away coughing, to see her stare from a distance when she used to be close, is heartbreaking. It makes sense you feel torn between wanting to do everything for her and wanting to protect her from fear and distress.

Caring for her the way you are, with four pills twice a day, an inhaler three times a day and fluids each week, is a lot to carry. It is tender, exhausting work, and the fact that you are so gentle about how she experiences it says so much about your love for her.

One thing that may ease a little of the pressure is to ask your regular vet team now, while things are steady, if they keep a list of mobile veterinarians in your area who do in-home hospice visits. Having a name and number already on hand can bring peace of mind, and they can also watch you give the pills and inhaler once more to make sure you have the most comfortable technique for both of you. We will keep praying alongside your vet's care, not in place of it.

Father, we lift ### to You and we lift her beloved family. Ease her pain and labored breathing, and give her comfort, rest, and moments of peace. Guide steady hands for each medication and treatment, and give wisdom for every decision ahead. When her time comes, grant her a gentle passing at home without fear. Your long and sorrowful letter has been read with much tenderness and every line has been weighed before the Lord. We hear the heaviness of your heart for your dear cat, who is as a member of your household, and we do not count this affection a small thing. The Lord who notes the sparrow's fall knows the creature He has made and He knows the tears of those who love her.

Hear what the prophet was commanded to cry, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. It is the voice of our gracious Father to every aching heart, and though your grief is for a creature He has given into your care, His comfort is not straitened. He sends it by His Word and by His Spirit, and He bids His people comfort one another. So we would comfort you this day, not with light words, but with the sure mercies of Christ.

There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. It is written that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and we have often seen that even the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but His leaves also are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life and make the nature other than it was before. You look up to this Tree and say, I am sick at heart, may I dare to partake of it. You may. Come with your burden for your beloved cat and for your own weary spirit, and ask of Him who openeth His hand to supply the need of every living thing.

We have carried your many requests to the throne of grace and we will continue to do so.

We pray that the Lord in His mercy would lay His healing hand upon your cat and, if it be His will, grant a full recovery from the tumor and the masses and lesions upon her lungs. We pray that He who alone can help where no treatment avails would ease and take away all pain and discomfort, and make her comfortable in His kindness.

We pray that God would restore to her the desire and ability to eat normal food and to drink water again, and that He would grant regular bowel movements and ease to her body. We pray especially for her breathing, that the coughing would be relieved and that she might purr and be comforted by affection without distress. It is heart breaking to see a creature so affectionate withdraw and lie alone, and we ask the Lord to show pity upon her sadness and to give her rest.

We pray that the Lord would guide your hands and give you steadiness and gentleness as you give the four pills twice a day, and as you administer the inhaler three times a day and the subcutaneous fluids each week. May He keep you from hurting her or causing needless distress, and may He give you wisdom in every decision you must make on her behalf. When you are perplexed, ask for more prayer, for it is great prayer that lifts up the cast down heart, and the Lord giveth wisdom liberally to them that ask Him.

We pray also for that solemn hour when her time shall come. We ask that our merciful God would spare her terror and suffering, and if it be His will, take her quietly in her sleep at home where she is loved and knows she is safe. We pray that if intervention be needed, the Lord in His providence would guide you to a compassionate person who can come to your house, so that her last moments need not be in fear and shaking in a strange place. The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, and we trust His mercy in this also.

Take this for your own comfort in affliction, This is my comfort in my affliction, for Thy Word hath quickened me. The external comfort of the Christian is the Word of God, and the internal comfort is the Spirit quickening the soul. God does not always give comfort by a distinct and sudden act, but He quickens us and so we obtain comfort. Keep near to that Word. Remember also the word, Thou shalt forget thy misery and remember it as waters that pass away. Time is in His hand, and eternity shall more than repair all the sorrows of this present life for those who are in Christ Jesus.

May the Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God even our Father who hath loved us comfort your heart and stablish you in every good word and work. May He hear and answer your desperate cries and pleas according to His infinite wisdom and love, which are far better than our own desires. We leave you and your dear cat in His tender care, whose compassions fail not.
