We come before the Lord with you in this urgent hour, lifting up your son with hearts full of faith, knowing that our God is mighty to save and deliver. The behaviors you describe are deeply troubling, and we recognize that this is not merely a matter of fleshly rebellion but a spiritual battle that must be confronted with the authority of Christ. You have done well to surrender your son to Jesus and to rebuke these tormenting spirits in His name, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12).
The strange voices, the rage, the defiance, and the unrest are not of God. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give life abundantly. We stand with you in rebuking every spirit of torment, confusion, anger, and rebellion that has taken hold of your son. These spirits must flee now in the name of Jesus, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your son’s heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). No weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
We also recognize the exhaustion and fear you and your family are experiencing. The Lord sees your weariness, and He promises rest for the weary and strength for the weak (Isaiah 40:29-31). You are not alone in this fight. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray for supernatural wisdom and discernment for you as you navigate this season. Ask the Lord to show you if there are any open doors in your son’s life—through media, influences, or ungodly exposures—that have given the enemy a foothold. Repent on his behalf for any known or unknown sins, and close those doors in Jesus’ name.
Scripture tells us that children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3), and we declare that your son belongs to God. We pray that the Lord would give him a spirit of repentance, that he would turn from these destructive behaviors and submit to the Holy Spirit’s leading. May the Lord soften his heart and fill him with a godly sorrow that leads to life (2 Corinthians 7:10). We also pray for protection over your daughter, that she would sleep peacefully tonight and be refreshed for her classes. May the Lord surround your home with His angels, creating a hedge of protection that no evil can penetrate.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious son who is under such severe spiritual attack. Lord, You are the God of all comfort and the breaker of chains. We ask that You would break every chain of torment, confusion, anger, and rebellion that has bound him. Let Your light expose and drive out every dark influence in his life. Fill him with Your peace, Lord, and let Your presence bring calmness to his mind, body, and spirit.
We rebuke every spirit of rage, defiance, and unrest in Jesus’ name. These spirits have no authority here, and we command them to leave now and never return. Lord, we ask that You would seal Your protection over this young man, covering him with the blood of Jesus. Let Your angels encamp around him and minister to him, bringing healing and restoration.
Father, we also lift up this mother and her family. Strengthen her, Lord, and fill her with Your wisdom and discernment. Give her the words to speak and the actions to take that will lead her son back to You. Protect her daughter and grant her restful sleep tonight. Let Your peace reign in this home, Lord, and let Your presence be a shield around them.
We declare that this son is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we ask that You would restore him to the person You created him to be. Let him walk in Your truth and in the freedom that comes from knowing You. We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue standing firm in prayer and in the authority of Christ. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Keep speaking life and truth over your son, and trust that the Lord is working even when you cannot see it. If possible, seek godly counsel or deliverance ministry to support you in this battle. You are not alone—the body of Christ stands with you.
