Urgent prayers for my ###-year-old granddaughter

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the deep burden of your heart for your precious granddaughter, your daughter, and her stepfather. It is clear how fiercely you love them and how desperately you long for their healing, freedom, and salvation. We have continued to lift them before the throne of grace, pleading with our Heavenly Father to move in power over every area of this battle—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

We stand in agreement with you for your granddaughter’s complete deliverance from the grip of anorexia, the anxiety that weighs her down, and the distressing sensations she feels. Lord, we ask You to break every chain of fear and panic, to calm her mind, and to replace her struggles with Your perfect peace. We pray for her physical health, that any lingering discomfort in her throat would be fully resolved according to Your will, and that she would find rest in Your care. Father, draw her heart to Yours with a holy desperation, that she would surrender every part of her life to You and walk in the freedom only You can provide.

For your daughter, we cry out for deliverance from the lies of body dysmorphia and the world’s empty pursuits. Lord, soften her heart to see herself as You see her—fearfully and wonderfully made—and to turn from anything that distracts her from Your purpose. We ask You to intervene in her plans for unnecessary procedures, that she would seek Your will above all else and use her resources in ways that honor You. Father, mend the relationship between mother and daughter, replacing harsh words with grace, understanding, and love.

For her stepfather, we pray earnestly for salvation. Lord, break the chains of addiction in his life, and reveal Your truth to him in a way he cannot ignore. Use him as a godly influence in your granddaughter’s life, that he may point her to You even as he comes to know You himself. Surround this family with Your presence, Lord, and let them feel the weight of Your love drawing them closer to You.

If the battle continues, please know we are still here, still lifting them up, and still believing in God’s power to move. We will not stop praying until we see His victory in every area of this situation.
