Please read this entire post. There is alot. Thankyou! Please pray that God will completely heal and give my cat ### a full recovery. She has a brain tumor and masses and lesions on her lungs, which could be chronic bronchitis/ asthma or cancer. There is no treatment. Only medication to make her comfortable. God is the only one that can help her now. She is having so many complications from all of this. Please pray that God will take away and ease any pain or discomfort ### is in. Please pray that God will help ### start eating normal food and drinking water again. Please pray that God will help ### have regular bowel movements. Please pray that God will help her breathing and purring. Purring is triggering coughing, she doesnt want affection anymore, because she starts purring, which makes her cough. She was the most affectionate cat I've ever met in my life , and she seems very sad about it. She tries to cuddle and starts coughing and will lay alone and just stare at us. It is heart breaking. Please pray that God will guide my hands and help me give ### all of the medication and treatments she needs without hurting her or causing distress. She needs 4 pills twice a day, which requires me to pry open her mouth and shove them down her throat. She also needs an inhaler 3 times a day, and a subcutaneous fluid IV at least once a week. Please pray that God will help me and guide me with all of these things and with all decisions regarding ###. Please pray that when ###'s time comes, God will show her mercy and just take her in her sleep. She is utterly terrified of driving and the Vet , and i refuse to let her be put to sleep there, alone, terrified, shaking, crying, not knowing what is happening or where we are. I will not allow that to be her last moments. Please pray that God will help us find someone that can come to our house and put her down if she needs it. I know she is just a cat, but she is our world. Please pray that God will hear and answer all of my desperate cries and pleas and prayers. Thankyou. In Jesus name I ask of all these things and in Jesus name I pray. Amen.

We hear your heartache and desperation, and we lift your precious cat before the Lord with deep compassion. The Bible tells us that God cares even for the sparrows, and not one falls to the ground apart from His will (Matthew 10:29). If He is mindful of the smallest creatures, how much more does He see and love the bond you share with ? We stand with you in faith, believing that nothing is impossible for our God (Luke 1:37).

Father in Heaven, we come before You with heavy hearts, asking for Your healing touch upon . You are the Great Physician, the One who formed her in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13) and knows every hair on her body. We ask that You would shrink the tumor in her brain, clear the masses in her lungs, and restore her health completely. Lord, we know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20), and we trust in Your power to heal.

We pray for her comfort, Father. Ease her pain and discomfort, and let her feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help her to eat and drink again, to have regular bowel movements, and to breathe without struggle. Lord, we ask that You would restore her joy, let her purr without coughing, let her seek affection again, and let her eyes brighten with the love and security she once knew. Comfort her in her confusion and sadness, and remind her that she is deeply loved, not just by her family, but by You.

We also lift up ’s caretaker, Lord. Give them strength, patience, and wisdom as they administer medications and treatments. Guide their hands so that they may do so gently and effectively, without causing distress. Father, we ask that You would provide clarity in every decision that must be made regarding ’s care. Give them discernment to know Your will and the courage to follow it, whether that be continued healing or a peaceful passing.

Lord, if ’s time on this earth is drawing to a close, we ask that You would grant her a merciful and painless end. Let her pass quietly in her sleep, surrounded by love, without fear or suffering. We pray that You would lead them to a compassionate veterinarian who can come to their home, so that may leave this world in the safety and comfort of her own space, with those who love her most by her side.

We know that the love you have for is a reflection of the love You have for all Your creation, and we trust that You will answer these prayers according to Your perfect will. Thank you for the joy has brought into their life, and for the privilege of caring for her. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things.

In the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We want to encourage you with the truth that God sees your love for and your desire to care for her with dignity and compassion. The Bible tells us that "a righteous man has regard for the life of his animal" (Proverbs 12:10), and your tender heart reflects the heart of our Creator. Continue to seek the Lord in prayer, trusting that He hears you and will answer according to His wisdom and love. Whether He chooses to heal miraculously or to call her home, He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). You are not alone in this journey.

We hear the love in every word you've written, and we're sitting with you in the heartbreak of watching your sweet girl go through this. That description of her trying to cuddle, then coughing and staring sadly from across the room, is especially piercing, she wants to be close, and so do you, and the sickness has stolen that simple comfort. It's so much to carry. The daily rhythm of pills, inhaler, and fluids is exhausting, and you're doing it all out of devotion, even when it hurts her and you. That's a heavy, holy kind of care.

One small, concrete thing you can do right now, alongside all the prayer: ask your regular vet if they can recommend a mobile veterinarian or a service that does in-home euthanasia in your area. Many vets know who offers this, and some will do it themselves. Having a name and a number, even if you never need it, can lift a bit of the dread off your shoulders. You don't have to navigate that search alone; your vet can help you plan for mercy at home, where she feels safe. And while you're in the thick of treatments, give yourself permission to step away for a few minutes when you feel overwhelmed, stepping outside to breathe deeply isn't neglecting her, it's refueling so you can keep being her gentle advocate.

We're praying with you now: Father, in Jesus' name, we lift up this precious cat and her devoted family. Quiet the inflammation in her lungs, Lord. Calm the coughing so she can purr without pain and receive affection without distress. Ease any discomfort and stir her appetite for food and water. Steady the hands that give medication, make every dose go smoothly, without fear or hurt. And when her time comes, we ask for a merciful passing at home, in the warmth of your care, surrounded by those who love her. Hold this household in your peace, and let them feel your nearness. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

May the tender compassion of our Lord Jesus Christ come home with power to your sorrowing spirit. The cry of a heart that loves its own is never too small to reach the ear of Him who notes the fall of every sparrow. That blessed word "whosoever" sweeps a circle that shuts out neither the great nor the small; your pleading for this little suffering creature is encompassed within it. He who spoke worlds into being bends to hear the sighs of a contrite heart, and He knows the ache you carry.

Begin at home. The builders of Jerusalem set to work each before his own house, and your hands are set to a sacred charge within your own walls. The patience, the tender plying of medicine, the wrestling in prayer, these are no trifles. They are the very stuff of home mission. Heaven’s work is not all done in the pulpit; much of it is done at the hearthside, where love toils unseen. Your sorrow is an offering, and your tears are a libation poured out before the Lord. The model missionary is one who can pray and who can weep, and you are proving that in abundance.

Knock, and knock again, at the door of His fullness. It is always at home to faith. The Great Physician has His surgery ever open; His medicines are never spent. Plead the promises over that little frame. Plead that the Lord who formed this creature and gave her into your keeping would ease her pain, quiet her breathing, and restore her appetite. Cry to Him who holds every life in His hand, and who can, with a word, rebuke the sickness and make her to purr once more without a paroxysm. The Spirit who brings old mercies to remembrance with singular vivacity and force will refresh your mind when your hope wavers. He will bank up the fire of your confidence, that it may not go out in this long night of watching.

Lay hold of that great truth, that the Lord’s mercy is not cabined and confined to the souls of men. His tender mercies are over all His works. The cattle upon a thousand hills are His; the beasts of the field cry to Him when they are distressed. Do not think it a small thing to carry this weight to the throne. He who multiplied the loaves and filled the nets will not disdain to send healing into the secret chambers of your dwelling. If He restore her, go home to thy friends, yes, to all who have heard your plea, and tell how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion upon thy companion. If He ordain that her pain should cease by that last quiet sleep you have besought, then He who giveth His beloved sleep will take her as gently as the evening gathers in the lambs. You may trust the Shepherd for that final passage, for He is faithful.

Cast the net once more. “Whosoever” includes you, and your need, and this hour of desperation. May the glad tidings of His attentive love come home to your heart now. May the Holy Spirit lead you to leave this burden entirely at the feet of Jesus, and to believe that He is working, even in the darkness. The Lord hear your cries; the Lord answer you in the day of trouble; the Lord give you wisdom for every treatment and a quiet heart for every decision. In the name of Jesus Christ, who carries the lambs in His bosom, I join my prayer with yours.

The sorrow you pour out for this small creature is not unnoticed before the God of all mercies, who made every living thing and cares for even the sparrow that falls. You cry to Him for healing, and well you should, for His mercy is beyond all measure, delivering from evils and bestowing good things beyond what we ask. Yet in your anguish, do not let this trial cast you into despair; rather, let it become an occasion for your own soul to grow in patience and tender love. For tribulation, when borne with faith, works endurance, and endurance shapes a character more precious than gold.

Consider the mercy you are already showing to this suffering cat: the many pills, the inhaler, the fluids, the sleepless worry. All this care, given to a creature that cannot repay you, is a living image of God’s own goodness toward us. He did not create the world out of necessity, but from pure love; so you, in your small way, pour yourself out for this little life, and that is a holy thing. Do not let the enemy tempt you to think it is too trifling to bring before the Lord. He who counts the hairs of our head marks every sigh of your burdened heart.

You pray for relief of her pain, for her to eat and drink and purr again without coughing. Continue to ask, but also surrender her into the hands of Him who is gentler than any medicine. Say in your heart, “Lord, into Your compassion I commit this creature whom You gave into my keeping. Whether she recovers or whether You take her in sleep, You are good, and Your mercy endures forever.” For mercy is not only to release from punishment but to grant gifts beyond deserving. If He should grant her healing, it will be an abundance of grace; if He calls her home, even that death in the quiet of your own house would be a mercy, sparing her the terror you so dread.

As for the prying of her mouth and the giving of treatments, remember that the same hands which minister to her were made by God to be instruments of healing, not of torment. Do not scruple overmuch that you cause her brief distress; even a mother’s medicine tastes bitter to a child, yet the love that wills the child’s good makes the act a seed of virtue. Let not your fear of hurting her paralyze you, but trust that the Lord sees your intention and will guide your fingers.

When the time comes for her to depart, God who notes every living soul can indeed send a merciful release, whether by one who visits your home or by a quiet passing in her sleep. Pray for this with confidence, for He is rich in mercy and knows our tears before we speak. And do not fear that you love a mere animal too much; the heart that learns tenderness toward a small, mute companion is a heart being schooled in the greater mercy we owe to our fellow men, and above all to God who first loved us.

Let your cat’s affliction teach you this: as you now groan for her, so God yearns over your own soul with a compassion infinitely deeper. And as you would not see her suffer, so He does not willingly afflict the children of men. Offer your pain as a living sacrifice, and let it draw your gaze heavenward. There, where no creature suffers and every tear is wiped away, you shall understand the full measure of the mercy that sustains you now. Do not be bitter or question His timing, but like the Apostle, trust that even in distress and the absence of what we desire, there is a hidden door opening toward His will.

Finally, let nothing make you a harsh judge of yourself or of this trial. You have not been given a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. The very love you bear for this cat is a gift from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation. Continue in prayer, continue in mercy, and whether in healing or in parting, know that the Lord receives every groan of His children and answers with a mercy more abundant than you can ask or imagine.

Your request has been heard and taken seriously. What you are carrying right now is not too small for the Lord. You are not asking him to notice something trivial. The same Scripture that says not one sparrow falls to the ground apart from your Father means that he sees this little creature and he sees the tears behind your words.

You are right that, in one sense, medicine has reached its limit. That is not the end of hope. It is the place where we learn to cry out of our distress and still say, Lord, I do not understand everything you are doing, but I know you are still working. Those prayers are not weak. They are the prayers of faith holding on.

I am asking the Lord with you for a full recovery, for relief from ###, for a return of ### and ### and ###, for ###, and even for purring to return without the ###. I am also asking him to guide your hands with the ###, the ###, and the ###. You do not have to be perfect at this. The wisdom of God is not far off; he gives it generously to those who ask, and he can calm both your spirit and hers in the hardest moments.

The dread of disease and the long nights of watching feel overwhelming, but the shelter of the Most High is more real than the sickness that moves in darkness. You do not have to pretend you are not afraid. God knows the fear behind your words before you can name it, and he is not turned away by it.

If the time comes when healing is not what God gives, I will ask him to make her end gentle, in the place she knows, free from the terror of a strange room and a car ride, and to provide whatever help is needed for that. Wanting mercy for a suffering creature is not a failure of faith. It is part of watching over what God has entrusted to you.

So I am praying with you in Jesus' name, the one who notices every small life and receives every sorrow, that he will carry you and your cat through this valley and give you peace in the waiting.
