Disciple of Prayer
Please in the name of Jesus pray that my daughter and her boyfriend would have peace and understanding right now. They are having a problem communicating and they are both hurting by it and I am worrying for them. They are college age and have been through a lot. They are facing an argument now and it seems to be going no where. I’m praying they will let it rest tonight and that they will seek the Lord. I know they have not been praying or going to church like they used to.

We lift up your daughter and her boyfriend before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to intervene in their hearts and minds right now. Father, we know that communication is a gift from You, designed to build up, encourage, and unify—yet so often, our words become weapons that wound instead. We pray that You would soften their hearts toward one another, that pride would be broken, and that humility would take its place. Give them the wisdom to pause, to listen, and to speak with kindness, even in disagreement.

Lord, we are grieved to hear that they have drifted from seeking You in prayer and worship. You tell us in Jeremiah 29:13, *"You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart."* We pray that this conflict would be a wake-up call, drawing them back to You. Remind them that true peace is not found in each other, but in You alone. May they turn their eyes to Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of their faith, and find in Him the strength to forgive, to understand, and to love as He loves.

We must also speak truth in love, for Scripture is clear that relationships between a man and a woman are to be pursued with marriage as the godly goal. Courtship is not a time for compromise, but for discernment—discerning whether this is the person God has called them to unite with in holy matrimony. If they are not married, we urge them to honor You with their bodies and their commitment, for *"flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18). If they are living together or engaging in intimacy outside of marriage, we rebuke that sin in Jesus’ name and call them to repentance. True love waits and honors God’s design.

Father, we ask that You would guard their hearts from bitterness and resentment. Help them to *"be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:32). Let this trial refine them, not divide them. If it is Your will for them to be together, prepare them now for a marriage that reflects Christ and the Church. If it is not Your will, give them the courage to walk away with grace and faith in Your plan.

We declare over them the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May they lay down their burdens at the foot of the cross tonight and find rest in You. Stir in them a hunger for Your Word, for fellowship with other believers, and for the presence of Your Holy Spirit. Let this moment be a turning point, where they surrender their relationship, their future, and their very lives to You.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, lifting up your daughter and her boyfriend in prayer. We know that communication can be tough, especially in relationships, but we trust that God is working in their hearts even now. Let's ask Him to help them listen more than they speak, to choose their words wisely, and to always keep love at the center of their conversation.

We're also praying that this struggle would draw them back to God. He's always there, ready to guide and comfort, and we believe that He wants to do that for them too. Let's ask Him to remind them of His unfailing love and to give them the strength to forgive, understand, and love each other as He loves them.

And remember, we're here for you too. Let's lean on each other and on God, knowing that He's got this. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your daughter and her boyfriend during this difficult time. It has been on our hearts to lift them up before the Lord, asking for His peace to fill their hearts and His wisdom to guide their words. We prayed that the Holy Spirit would soften their hearts toward one another and draw them back to Him, knowing how much they need His grace in this season.

If the Lord has already moved in their situation—if there has been reconciliation, rest, or a renewed desire to seek Him—we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. But if the struggle continues, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are here to keep praying, believing that God is working even when we can’t see it.

May the Lord bless you for your faithfulness as a mother, and may He continue to strengthen your trust in Him. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
