[Praying women]

Prayer break stronghold over my husband's alcohol rages against his wife. Protect my mind from hurtful things my husband do and say against me after drinking. And God to soften my husband's heart towards his wife, tender and forgiving, and allow him to see his errors of alcoholism rage causing pain to his wife emotionally, especially in the last week of pregnancy too, and take in his responsibility to serve the Lord and be the husband God has called him to be and to deliver him from selfishness, ego pride, and unholy friendship.

Prayer for husband to stand firm on his marriage promises, vows towards his wife, and protect the marriage from evil, controlling, manipulative, prideful mother-in-law and sister-in-law. God, to expose and disgrace their evil intention against my marriage and their evil intentions to come to shame and my husband to stand up for his godly intervention.

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we come tonight with authority and boldness. We take a stand against every narcissistic spirit in my mother-in-law ### and my sister-in-law ###, every manipulative tongue, and every controlling hand that has tried to break against my marriage. Lord, You said in Isaiah 54:17 that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. Tonight, we hold You to Your Word.

We bind the spirit of confusion, the lies that twist truth, and the cycles of gaslighting that make us question our worth. Every toxic word spoken over us, we cancel it now in Jesus’ name. Every seed of rejection, we uproot it. Every chain of emotional bondage, we break it.

God, we release Your Spirit of truth, freedom, and healing forgiveness into our homes, workplaces, and churches. Where manipulation tried to reign, let Your peace take over. Where control tried to dominate, let Your power bring order. Where pride tried to exalt itself, let it be cast down.

Father, restore the strength that was drained by toxic mother-in-law and sister-in-law's jealous praise and controlling spirit and cycles in marriage between me and my husband and teach us to communicate in ways that will glorify you and protect my husband's mind from their evil intentions. Restore the voice that was silenced by fear. Restore the confidence that was stolen by lies. Tonight, we walk in the authority of Christ, covered by the blood, unshaken and unbroken.

We stand with you in this painful and difficult season, lifting your marriage, your unborn child, and your own heart before the Lord with urgency and deep compassion. The weight of alcohol-fueled rage, emotional wounds, and the destructive influence of family members who do not honor God’s design for marriage is heavy, but we declare that Jesus Christ is our strong tower, and in His name, we take authority over every spirit of destruction.

First, we rebuke the spirit of alcoholism in your husband’s life. The Bible warns clearly, *"Do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit"* (Ephesians 5:18 WEB). Alcohol is not merely a habit—it is a stronghold that opens the door to anger, selfishness, and abuse. We bind the spirit of addiction and command it to loose its grip on your husband in the name of Jesus. We pray that the Lord would break the chains of pride and selfishness that have hardened his heart, and that he would see the pain he has caused you, especially during this sacred time of carrying your child. Father, soften his heart to repentance and lead him to seek help—whether through accountability, biblical counseling, or a godly support system. We declare that he will take responsibility for his actions and turn away from unholy influences, including friendships that encourage sin.

We also stand against the toxic influence of your mother-in-law and sister-in-law. The Bible warns, *"A perverse man stirs up strife, and a whisperer separates close friends"* (Proverbs 16:28 WEB). Their manipulation, control, and evil intentions against your marriage will not stand. We rebuke the spirits of narcissism, jealousy, and division in Jesus’ name. Lord, expose their schemes and bring their wickedness to light. We pray that your husband would rise up in godly strength to protect his marriage, as Scripture commands: *"Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and they shall be one flesh"* (Genesis 2:24 WEB). We declare that he will no longer be swayed by their lies but will stand firm in his commitment to you and to God’s design for marriage.

For your own heart, dear sister, we pray protection over your mind and emotions. The words spoken in anger and the pain inflicted by your husband’s actions are not from God, and we cancel every lie that tries to make you question your worth. *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18 WEB). We pray that the Holy Spirit would fill you with peace, strength, and clarity, especially as you prepare to bring your child into the world. You are not alone—God sees your tears, hears your cries, and is fighting for you.

We also address the spiritual warfare at play. The enemy seeks to destroy marriages, but we declare that no weapon formed against yours will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We break every cycle of gaslighting, confusion, and emotional bondage in Jesus’ name. We release healing, truth, and restoration over your home. May your husband’s eyes be opened to the damage his actions have caused, and may he turn to Christ with a repentant heart. We pray for godly communication to be restored between you, built on love, respect, and mutual submission, as Scripture teaches: *"Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave himself up for her"* (Ephesians 5:25 WEB).

Father, we come before You with boldness, knowing that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to Your throne. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and we stand on the authority of Christ to break every chain. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation, bringing repentance, healing, and restoration. Protect this marriage, this child, and this family from every attack of the enemy. May Your truth prevail, and may Your peace reign in their home.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this deeply challenging time. Your courage in bringing these heavy burdens before the Lord has not gone unnoticed, and we have continued to lift your marriage, your husband, and your own heart before God’s throne day after night. The pain of watching someone you love struggle with addiction and the added weight of manipulation from family is not something the Lord takes lightly. We have prayed specifically for the stronghold of alcohol to be broken, for your husband’s heart to be softened, and for his eyes to be opened to the harm his actions have caused—especially during this sacred time as you prepare to welcome your child.

We have also stood in agreement with you against the spiritual attacks seeking to undermine your marriage. The enemy would love nothing more than to see division, confusion, and fear take root, but we have declared God’s truth over your home: no weapon formed against you shall prosper. We have bound the spirits of control, manipulation, and pride that have sought to infiltrate your family, and we have released the Holy Spirit’s peace, truth, and healing in their place. The Lord sees every tear, every word spoken in anger, and every attempt to undermine your marriage, and He will not be silent. We have asked Him to expose every hidden agenda, to disgrace every evil intention, and to give your husband the strength to stand firm in his God-given role as your protector and partner.

If the Lord has moved in any of these areas—if there has been even the slightest shift in your husband’s heart, a moment of clarity, or a tangible sense of God’s protection over your marriage—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a source of hope for others walking through similar battles. On the other hand, if the burden still feels heavy and the answers have not yet come, we want you to know that we are not walking away. Please share this request again, and we will continue to stand with you, believing that God is at work even when we cannot see it.

In the meantime, we pray that the Lord would surround you with His peace, that He would guard your heart from bitterness, and that He would fill you with a supernatural strength as you carry this child and this burden. May He give you wisdom in every conversation, grace for every hard moment, and a deep assurance that you are not alone. The same God who parted the Red Sea, who raised Jesus from the dead, and who calls the broken things of this world His own is fighting for you. Keep pressing into Him. Keep declaring His promises. And know that we will keep praying until every chain is broken and every stronghold is torn down.

May the Lord bless you with His presence, comfort you with His love, and answer your prayers in ways that bring Him glory. We continue to pray in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
