We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your son’s urgent need for his stipend to cover his rent. Father God, You are Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we trust in Your perfect timing and provision. We ask that You open the doors that need to be opened and move in the hearts of those responsible for releasing these funds. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus as he waits on You.
The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We stand on this promise today, believing that You will not leave him lacking what he needs. We also pray for wisdom for your son in managing his finances, that he would seek Your guidance in all things, as Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us: *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."*
If there is any delay or obstacle, Lord, we ask that You reveal it and remove it in Jesus’ name. We rebuke any spirit of lack or fear that may be trying to take hold, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that your son’s needs are met according to Your riches in glory, and we thank You for Your faithfulness even before we see the answer.
We also encourage your son to continue seeking You in this time, casting all his anxieties on You because You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). If there are areas where he can exercise stewardship or seek additional resources, we pray for clarity and opportunity in those as well. May he grow in faith through this trial, knowing that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we have access to You. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through Jesus that we boldly come before Your throne of grace to find mercy and help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your unfailing love. Amen.
