We stand with you in this time of deep distress, lifting you and this situation before the throne of God, knowing that He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Your cry has been heard, and we join you in pleading for divine intervention, protection, and justice. The Lord sees the violence and abuse you have endured, and His heart is grieved by the wickedness of ###’s actions. The Scriptures are clear that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is a God of justice, and He will not ignore the cries of the afflicted.

The behavior you describe—drunkenness, physical and emotional abuse, and the tormenting of your family—is an abomination in the sight of God. The Bible warns that drunkards will not inherit the Kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-10), and it commands men to love and cherish their families, not to harm them. Ephesians 5:25-29 instructs husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church, sacrificially and gently. ###’s actions are in direct rebellion against God’s design for relationships and family. His behavior is not only sinful but dangerous, and we rebuke the spirit of violence, addiction, and control that has taken hold of him. The Lord says in Proverbs 6:16-19 that there are six things He hates, seven that are an abomination to Him, including "hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and one who sows discord among brothers." ###’s actions align with these abominations, and we declare that God’s judgment and conviction will fall upon him unless he repents.

You have shown incredible strength and faith in enduring this trial, and now is the time to take bold, practical steps to ensure your safety and the safety of your family. The Lord does not call us to remain in situations where we are being harmed. In fact, 1 Corinthians 7:15 tells us that if an unbelieving spouse (or in this case, an abusive individual) chooses to leave or create an unsafe environment, the believer is not bound to stay in harm’s way. You have a right—and a responsibility—to protect yourself and your loved ones. This may involve legal action, such as obtaining a restraining order, pressing charges, or seeking emergency shelter. We urge you to contact local authorities, a trusted pastor, or a Christian organization that assists victims of domestic abuse. You are not alone, and there are people who can help you navigate this situation safely.

We also lift up ### in prayer, not because he deserves mercy, but because God desires that all men repent and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). We pray that the Lord would break the stronghold of alcohol in his life and bring him to a place of genuine repentance. However, this does not mean you must expose yourself to further harm while waiting for him to change. Your safety and well-being are paramount. The Lord’s desire is for ### to seek help for his addiction and to reconcile with his wife, ###, if it is possible and safe to do so. But reconciliation can only happen after true repentance, and that is between ###, ###, and the Lord. Your focus must be on your healing and protection.

As for your anxiety and sleeplessness, we pray that the Lord would grant you the rest you so desperately need. Psalm 4:8 says, "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for you, Lord, make me dwell in safety." We ask the Lord to calm your mind and body, to give you supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7), and to grant you at least a few hours of restorative sleep before your doctor’s appointment. He knows your needs, and He will sustain you.

Finally, we pray for wisdom and clarity as you move forward. James 1:5 tells us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." The Lord will guide your steps and provide the courage you need to take the necessary actions. Trust in Him, for He is your shield and your exceedingly great reward (Genesis 15:1).

**Our Prayer:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, who is crying out to You in the midst of great distress and danger. Lord, You see the violence she has endured at the hands of ###, and we ask that You would intervene mightily in this situation. You are a God of justice, and we plead for Your righteous hand to move on her behalf. Protect her, Lord, as she seeks safety and takes the steps necessary to remove herself from harm’s way. Surround her with Your angels, and let no weapon formed against her prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we rebuke the spirit of drunkenness, violence, and control that has taken hold of ###. Break the chains of addiction in his life, Lord, and bring conviction upon his heart. Let him see the gravity of his sins and the damage he has caused. If it is Your will, lead him to repentance and restoration, but not at the expense of our sister’s safety. Remove him from her presence, Lord, and let him find no opportunity to harm her or her family again. Push him far away in peace, as she has prayed, and let him seek the help he desperately needs.

Grant our sister the strength and courage to take legal action and to do what is necessary to protect herself. Give her wisdom as she navigates this difficult season, and provide her with godly counsel and support. Comfort her anxiety, Lord, and grant her the sleep she needs to face the coming day. Be her peace and her shield as she attends her doctor’s appointment, and let Your healing power flow through her body, mind, and spirit.

We pray for ###, ###’s wife, that You would protect her and give her the wisdom to know how to respond to his behavior. If there is any hope for their marriage, let it begin with ###’s genuine repentance and surrender to You. But Lord, we also ask that You would protect ### and not allow her to remain in danger.

Father, we thank You that You hear our prayers and that You are moving on behalf of our sister. We trust in Your power to deliver her from this evil, and we declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper. Let Your will be done in this situation, and let Your name be glorified. We pray all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen and amen.

Dear sister, we're here with you, lifting you up in prayer. We know you're exhausted and scared, but remember, God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He sees your pain and hears your cries.

We're praying for your safety and peace. We ask God to grant you strength and courage to take legal action, as you feel led. We also pray for a good night's sleep, so you can face tomorrow's doctor's appointment refreshed.

We're binding Ronald's abusive behavior and rebuking the spirit of violence and control over him. We ask God to push him far away from you, in peace, and to convict him of his actions. We also pray for Michelle, his wife, asking God to protect her and give her wisdom in this situation.

Trust in God, dear sister. He is with you, and He will guide you through this. We're believing with you for a breakthrough and a safe resolution. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred honor of lifting you and this heavy burden before the Lord these past few days. Our hearts have been knit together in prayer for your protection, peace, and the strength to take the necessary steps forward—and we continue to stand with you in this fight. The enemy’s attacks through ###’s actions are real and grievous, but we serve a God who is mightier, who sees your exhaustion, your fear, and your desperate cry for rest. He has not forgotten you, beloved sister.

We earnestly pray that since your last post, the Lord has granted you even a measure of sleep and a shield of safety around you as you prepared for your doctor’s appointment today. We are trusting that God is making a way where there seems to be no way—guiding your steps legally, emotionally, and spiritually as you seek His wisdom for what comes next. You are not alone in this; the body of Christ is surrounding you, pleading for God’s justice, conviction in ###’s heart, and a supernatural break in this cycle of abuse.

If the Lord has moved in this situation—whether through a moment of peace, a door opening for legal action, or ###’s departure from your life—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Your testimony of God’s faithfulness could be the very thing that strengthens another soul walking a similar path. And if this battle still rages, if the fear and exhaustion remain, we urge you to repost your request. Let us continue to storm the gates of heaven on your behalf, declaring that *no weapon formed against you shall prosper* (Isaiah 54:17) and that the Lord *hears the cry of the afflicted* (Psalm 10:17).

You are seen. You are loved. And you are *not* defined by the hands that have harmed you, but by the Hands that were pierced for your freedom. Lean into Jesus, who is your Refuge and Strength. We are praying for you to feel His presence tangibly today—guiding you, comforting you, and empowering you to take each next step with courage.

In Jesus’ mighty and victorious name.
