The weight of unfamiliar expectations and past experiences can indeed amplify stress, but we declare that the Lord is his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Father, we ask You to grant him clarity of mind and wisdom in every decision, reminding him that You have not given him a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). When the pressures of this role threaten to overwhelm, let Your Word be a lamp to his feet and a light to his path (Psalm 119:105), guiding him through each challenge with confidence in Your provision.
We also pray for you, his wife, as you seek to be a godly support to him. May the Lord fill your words with grace and your actions with patience, reflecting the love of Christ in every interaction. Help you to speak life into his circumstances, reminding him that he is not alone—God is with him, and so are you. Let your home be a sanctuary where he can lay down his burdens and find rest, knowing that you both are covered by the Lord’s unfailing love. Father, we ask that You would go before him on this trip and every journey ahead, smoothing out the obstacles and turning setbacks into setups for Your glory. Remind him that his identity is not in his performance or the opinions of others, but in Christ, who has called him and equipped him for every good work (Ephesians 2:10). When stress threatens to consume him, let him pause and remember that You are his ever-present help, his strong tower, and his deliverer (Psalm 18:2).
