We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent request. Father God, we know that You hold all things in Your hands, and nothing is beyond Your control. We ask that You would open the doors that need to be opened for this opportunity and close those that should remain shut, all according to Your perfect will.
Lord, we pray for favor and wisdom in this situation. If this path is aligned with Your purpose, we ask that You would make a way where there seems to be no way. Grant clarity, peace, and confidence in the process, and let Your will be done. We trust that You have a plan and a future for this life, as Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us: *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."*
We also take a moment to rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or anxiety that may be trying to take hold. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand on the promise that Christ came so that we may have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against this situation shall prosper, and every tongue that rises in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we also lift up the heart behind this request. If there is any unconfessed sin, fear, or misalignment with Your will, we ask that You would bring it to light. Search this heart, Lord, and lead in the way everlasting (Psalm 139:23-24). We pray that this opportunity would not just be about personal gain but would ultimately bring glory to Your name and further Your kingdom.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come before You. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer according to Your perfect timing and will.
May this time be one of growth, trust, and surrender to You. We ask for patience and perseverance, knowing that those who wait on You will renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31). We commit this situation into Your hands, trusting that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
