We lift you and your brother up before the throne of grace in this time of need, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand on this promise, believing that God hears our prayers and will bring healing to your stomach and to your brother.
Father in Heaven, we come before You with hearts full of faith, asking for Your divine healing touch upon our brother and sister. Lord, we ask that You would ease the pain in their stomach and bring complete restoration to their body. We also pray for Your protection over them, that no harm or evil would come near their dwelling. Surround them with Your angels, as it is written in Psalm 91:11, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."
We pray for peace in their home, that the presence of the Holy Spirit would fill every room and bring comfort to their hearts. Grant them both a good night’s sleep, free from anxiety and fear, for You have given us the promise in Psalm 4:8, "In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."
Lord, we also bring their finances before You. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity and bless the work of their hands, so that all their needs may be met according to Your riches in glory, as Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
We rebuke any spirit of fear, sickness, or lack that may be trying to take hold in their lives. In the mighty name of Jesus, we command these afflictions to leave and declare that they are covered by the blood of Christ. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach You and the only name by which we are saved. Acts 4:12 reminds us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
May they feel Your presence with them in a tangible way, and may they grow ever closer to You through this trial. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect will for their lives. Amen.
