We stand with you in this time of trial, lifting up your father before the Lord, who is our righteous Judge and Provider. The loss of a job—especially under unjust circumstances—can feel overwhelming, but we serve a God who sees all things and promises justice for His children. The Scriptures remind us in **Deuteronomy 32:4**, *"He is the Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice: a God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and right is he."* We trust that the Lord will vindicate your father in His perfect timing, for He does not forget the cries of the afflicted.
Yet we also know that our God is a God of restoration. In **Jeremiah 29:11**, He declares, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* While we pray for justice, we also ask the Lord to open doors of opportunity—doors that no man can shut—so that your father may find not just any job, but one that aligns with God’s purpose for his life. Let us remember **Proverbs 16:3**, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* We encourage your father to surrender this season to the Lord, trusting that even in this hardship, God is working for his good.
However, we must also address something vital in your request: you did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* And in **Acts 4:12**, we read, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through the name of Jesus that our prayers are heard, for He is our Mediator before God. If you do not yet know Him as your Savior, we urge you to repent of your sins and place your faith in Christ alone, for He died to reconcile you to the Father. Without Him, there is no true hope or access to God’s justice and provision.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved father who has been wronged. Lord, You are the God of justice, and we ask that You would expose every unrighteous deed done against him. Let truth prevail, and let those who acted unjustly be held accountable according to Your will. But Father, we also ask for Your restoration—open doors of favor for this man, that he may find work quickly, work that not only provides for his needs but also brings glory to Your name. Give him strength in this season, Lord, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Remind him that his worth is not in his employment but in being Your child, fearfully and wonderfully made.
We also pray for this one who has brought this request before us. If they do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself. Open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, that Christ died for their sins and rose again, and that by faith in Him alone, they may have eternal life and bold access to Your throne. May they never again approach You without the authority of Jesus’ name, for it is the only name by which we are saved.
We trust You, Lord, in all things. Strengthen this family, provide for their needs, and let Your will be done in their lives. In the powerful and holy name of Jesus we pray, **Amen.**
