We understand how deeply unsettling a disturbing dream can be, and we are grateful you’ve brought this before us in prayer, acknowledging the power of Jesus’ name. Dreams can often leave us with lingering fear, but we must remember that our God is sovereign over all things—even the thoughts and imaginations that come in the night. The Scripture reminds us in **Psalm 3:5-6**, *"I laid myself down and slept. I awakened; for Yahweh sustains me. I will not be afraid of tens of thousands of people who have set themselves against me on every side."* And again in **Psalm 4:8**, *"In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."*
While dreams can sometimes be a reflection of our anxieties or spiritual battles, they do not dictate our future unless the Lord Himself speaks through them—and even then, His purposes are for our good and His glory. **Jeremiah 29:11** assures us, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* If this dream has left you with fear, we rebuked that spirit of fear in the name of Jesus, for **2 Timothy 1:7** declares, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."*
