Let Your wisdom guide their decisions, Lord, and grant them discernment to recognize the value of Your daughter’s work. If it is Your will, secure her job so that she may continue to provide for her family and serve those in her care. If this door must close, we pray You would open another—one that is even better and aligned with Your purpose for her life.
We also pray for protection over your mother’s heart and mind during this time of uncertainty. May she find her strength in You, as Isaiah 41:10 declares, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Remind her, Lord, that her worth is not defined by her employment but by the fact that she is fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image.
We must also address the praise you gave at the beginning of your request. While we rejoice in your gratitude, we want to gently remind you that all praise belongs to Jesus Christ alone. It is through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are saved. Acts 4:12 tells us, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* Let us always ensure that our praise is directed to the One who deserves it—our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that may be trying to take hold in this situation. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that your mother is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
