We have been continuing to lift her up before the Lord, remembering her as a highly experienced senior HR professional who is facing such a painful time after being made redundant following a difficult period with her manager. We have been praying for her as she has faithfully applied for so many positions, even below her previous level, and has become discouraged and hopeless while carrying the heavy burden of her mortgage and financial responsibilities as her savings are nearly exhausted.
Most of all our hearts have been burdened for her safety and emotional wellbeing, and we have been praying earnestly because you shared how deeply distressed she is and that she even entrusted you with the password to her phone. We have asked God to protect her and keep her safe, to give her strength and hope when she feels there is none left, to heal her from the hurt and humiliation she has experienced, to provide financially and protect her home, to open the right employment opportunity in His perfect timing, to cause the right people to recognize her experience and character and abilities, and to remind her that she is valued and that her life has purpose. We hold fast to the promise in Psalm 34:18 that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and to Philippians 4:19 that God will supply all our needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus.
