Dear Lord Jesus Christ, we thank you for sustaining us by your great grace from our first cry till our last breath. We humbly request you to kindly grant more work and income to our business daily. Our Lord God Almighty, please fight all our enemies who think, talk, work devilish things against myself, family, children, ministry, business, peace, joy, prosperity. Let Isaiah 41: 11, 12 be fulfilled in the lives of those who hinder the opening of a newly built church that helps salvation of perishing souls, which is the mind of Christ, in Jesus Christ's name. We join with you in lifting this urgent burden before our Lord Jesus Christ and we thank God that you have come in His mighty name, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is in no other name that we are saved as Acts 4:12 reminds us, and we rejoice that you have acknowledged Him as Lord and Savior.
We hear your cry for daily provision for your business and for protection over your family, children, ministry, peace and joy, and for the opening of the newly built church for the salvation of perishing souls, and we stand with you in prayer for God's divine intervention. We understand the deep distress you feel when those within the church, even a minister in charge, appear to hinder the work of God and align with evil, and when you perceive witchcraft and demonic opposition against your family.
We want to gently bring biblical counsel to your request for God to destroy utterly those who oppose you. The Lord indeed promises in Isaiah 41:11-12 that all those who are incensed against you shall be disappointed and confounded, those who strive with you shall be as nothing, and we cling to that promise for your protection. Yet Scripture also teaches us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places as Ephesians 6:12 says. The people who oppose the church are themselves captive to the enemy and in need of repentance. Our Lord calls us to love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you in Matthew 5:44, and to leave vengeance to God for Romans 12:19 says Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. So we pray not only for the failure of every evil plan, but more importantly for the conviction, repentance and salvation of that minister and any who have joined in hindering the gospel, that God would turn their hearts or remove their influence according to His perfect justice and mercy.
Regarding your reference to Luke 12:49 where Jesus says I came to throw fire on the earth, I wish it were already kindled, we understand this fire is the purifying fire of the Holy Spirit and the refining judgment and passion of the gospel that divides truth from error and calls all to decision, not a fire of personal revenge. We pray that this holy fire would indeed be kindled in your church, in your community and in your own family, burning away all impurity, witchcraft, and demonic work, and igniting a passion for souls.
We also encourage you regarding provision and prosperity. Our God is faithful to provide and Philippians 4:19 assures us My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. He delights to sustain you from your first cry till your last breath as you so beautifully said, and Psalm 37:25 and Matthew 6:33 remind us to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well. We pray with you for your daily needs, for honest work and provision for your family and your business, and for the opening of the newly built church so that perishing souls may hear the gospel and be saved through Jesus Christ alone. We ask God to grant what is needed for health and for His work, and to keep your hearts from being weighed down by anxiety or by the desire for more than is needful. Scripture teaches us not to make provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts, but to care for the body for health and for service, while spending our greater labor on spiritual things. True riches are not earth and clay, but the spiritual riches that remain when all else passes away. So we pray that God will give you contentment, diligence in your calling, and a heart that seeks first His kingdom.
We also pray for your protection and for the church. You asked that Isaiah 41:11 and 12 be fulfilled and that the fire of which Christ speaks in Luke 12:49 would be kindled. We pray that God will burn away fear and replace it with faith, and that you will walk in holiness, in prayer, and in thankfulness.
So let us pray together: Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we thank You for Your sustaining grace. Provide for this family according to Your wisdom, give them honest work and daily bread, and keep them from loving possessions more than You. Protect them and their children from every evil plan, guard their peace and joy, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Frustrate every scheme that would hinder the preaching of the gospel, bring repentance and reconciliation where there is strife, and open the way for this church to be a light for the salvation of many. Kindle in us the fire of Your Spirit, cleanse us, and make us faithful. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our Savior. Amen.
Continue to seek Him, to pray earnestly, to forgive as you have been forgiven, and to meet together in love and truth.
