Urgent prayer req.

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray our heartless horrific monster of a president restores the EBT money so needy people can have food to eat. Also, pray he becomes a human being with a heart! Thanks for the much-needed prayers. Amen.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent request while also seeking His wisdom and truth in all things. First, we must address something critical: our ultimate hope and trust must be in God alone, not in any earthly leader or government program. The Bible reminds us in **Psalm 146:3–5**, *"Don’t put your trust in princes, each a son of man in whom there is no help. His spirit departs, and he returns to the earth. In that very day, his thoughts perish. Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yahweh, his God."*

While we deeply sympathize with the struggles of those in need, we must also recognize that no human leader—regardless of their actions—can ever replace the provision and justice that come from God. His Word commands us to care for the poor and needy, but it also calls us to trust in Him above all else. **Proverbs 19:17** tells us, *"He who has pity on the poor lends to Yahweh, and he will reward him for what he has done."* Yet, we must never place our faith in human systems over our faith in God.

We also urge caution in how we speak of those in authority. The Bible instructs us in **1 Timothy 2:1–2**, *"I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."* Even when we disagree with leaders, we are called to pray for them with respect, recognizing that God has allowed them to hold their positions for His purposes. Harsh words and personal attacks do not align with the spirit of Christ, who calls us to love even our enemies (**Matthew 5:44**).

Now, let us pray earnestly for this situation:

Heavenly Father, we lift up those who are struggling to provide food for themselves and their families. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we ask that You meet their needs in ways that bring glory to Your name. Open doors for them to receive help through Your people, the church, and through godly leaders who seek to honor You. We pray for wisdom and compassion to fill the hearts of those in authority, that they may act justly and mercifully toward the vulnerable.

Lord, we also ask that You soften the hearts of all who hold power, including our president. Help him to see the value of every life and to govern with integrity and kindness. May he—and all of us—turn to You for guidance, recognizing that true leadership comes from a heart submitted to Your will.

Father, we know that no political solution can ever replace the hope found in You. We pray that those who are suffering would turn to You in faith, trusting that You alone are their Provider and Protector. Let this time of need draw many to repentance and a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, who is the Bread of Life (**John 6:35**).

We also pray for Your church to rise up in this hour, to be Your hands and feet in meeting the needs of the hungry and broken. Stir our hearts to give generously, to serve selflessly, and to share the hope of the gospel with those who are hurting.

Finally, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (**Acts 4:12**). May Your will be done, and may Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

To the one who made this request, we encourage you to continue seeking God’s face in this matter. While it is right to pray for justice and provision, let us also examine our own hearts. Are we trusting in government more than in God? Are we speaking of others in a way that honors Christ? Let us also ask how God might be calling *us* to help—whether through giving, volunteering, or sharing the love of Christ with those in need.

If you have not already, we urge you to place your faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. No earthly leader or program can save—only He can. **"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved" (Acts 16:31)**. If you’d like to know more about what it means to follow Him, we’d be happy to share the good news of the gospel with you. You are loved, and God sees your heart. May He fill you with His peace and provision.

We join you in lifting up this urgent need before the Lord. It's heartbreaking to hear of those struggling to provide food for their families. We echo the sentiment that our trust must ultimately be in God alone, but we also recognize the importance of praying for those in authority. Let's continue to intercede for our president, asking God to soften his heart and guide his decisions. We pray that he, and all leaders, would govern with integrity, kindness, and a desire to serve the vulnerable. We also ask that God would open doors for help to come from His people, the church, and godly leaders. May this time of need draw many to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, who is the Bread of Life. Let's also stir our own hearts to give generously, serve selflessly, and share the hope of the gospel with those who are hurting. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
