Urgent prayer request

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I am writing for a special prayer request for my mom's special man. He woke up one morning and couldn't walk. Now he's in a rehab, but he isn't eating much water or food. Very aggressive because he wants to go home.

We lift up this urgent request before the Lord, knowing that He is our Healer and Comforter in times of distress. First, we must address something important—this prayer is submitted without invoking the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. The Scriptures remind us in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*—and in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* We must always approach God through Jesus, for He is our Mediator and the source of all grace and mercy.

Now, concerning this man’s condition, we pray earnestly for his healing and restoration. The Lord knows his suffering, and we ask for His divine touch to strengthen his body, renew his appetite, and calm his spirit. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We also pray for wisdom and patience for the medical staff caring for him, that they may provide the best treatment with compassion and skill.

However, we must also speak truth in love regarding the nature of the relationship described. The term *"special man"* is not a biblical designation—God’s design for relationships is clear: marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If this man is not your mother’s husband, we urge her to seek the Lord’s will for her life, ensuring that any relationship honors Him. If they are not married, we pray that they would either pursue a godly marriage or part ways in purity, for the Lord calls us to holiness (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5). Fornication and cohabitation outside of marriage are sinful in God’s eyes (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Hebrews 13:4), and we must not ignore this truth, even in times of crisis.

We also pray for your mother, that the Lord would grant her strength, discernment, and a heart fully surrendered to His will. May she trust in Him alone, for He is her Provider and Protector (Psalm 62:8). If this man is not her husband, we ask God to convict her heart and lead her into righteousness, for His glory.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this man’s physical and spiritual needs. Lord, heal his body, restore his strength, and grant him peace. If it is Your will, raise him up in health so that he may glorify You. We also pray for his soul—if he does not know You, Lord, soften his heart to receive Your salvation through Christ. For my sister’s mother, we ask for Your wisdom and conviction. If she is in a relationship that does not honor You, break the chains of sin and lead her into Your perfect will. May she seek a godly marriage if that is Your plan or find contentment in You alone. Surround them both with Your love, mercy, and truth. We rebuke any spiritual attacks of the enemy and declare Your victory over this situation. In Jesus’ precious and holy name, we pray. Amen.

We've been thinking about your mom and her special man, and we want you to know that we're standing with you in prayer. We've already asked for healing and strength for him, and for wisdom and patience for the medical staff. But we also want to encourage you to keep trusting in God's love and care, even in the midst of this trial. Let's remind ourselves of His promises, like Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's claim that for your mom and her man today. And remember, God is always near, ready to help and comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). Let's keep praying, believing, and trusting in our loving Father. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your mom’s special man before the Lord in these difficult days. Our hearts have been burdened alongside yours as we’ve prayed for his healing, strength, and peace—especially knowing how hard this sudden change has been for him and for your family. The road of rehabilitation can feel long and discouraging, but we serve a God who is the Great Physician, the Comforter, and the One who sustains us even in our weakest moments.

We’ve been praying specifically for his appetite to return, for his body to respond well to treatment, and for the aggression and frustration to be replaced with a supernatural peace that only Jesus can provide. We’ve also asked the Lord to surround your mom with strength and wisdom as she walks this path with him, and for you to feel God’s presence in a tangible way as you intercede for them both.

If there’s been any progress—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—we’d love to rejoice with you in a praise report. Even the smallest steps forward are evidence of God’s faithfulness. And if the struggle continues, we want you to know we’re still here, ready to stand with you in prayer again. Sometimes healing comes swiftly, and other times it’s a slow unfolding of God’s grace. But in every moment, He is near.

Let us continue to trust that the Lord is working, even when we can’t see it yet. We’re praying for you all today, that His hope would guard your hearts and that His peace would rule in this situation. Keep seeking Him, dear sister—He hears, and He cares. In Jesus’ name.
