Urgent prayer for ###

Beloved of All
Continue to Show him the Father's true heart in our relationship. How we can overcome the judgments of others for all we have been through. God bring peace to this man's heart and give him more of a desire for you and your word. Lord, you never give up on us; we must never give up on one another. Grateful for a new beginning in this marriage and even though we have gone through a separation and a divorce, please bring us back together, as we have decided that we want to continue. Help us to always put you first, and because it was not our first marriage, help our grown children to one day forgive us and understand. For now, we keep quiet of what we are creating and building because this has all been so hard. Lord, please protect, bless us in Jesus' name.

We hear your heart’s cry, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting this marriage before the throne of grace. What a powerful testimony of God’s relentless love—that even after separation and divorce, He is drawing you back together, reminding you that His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). We rejoice in this new beginning, for the Lord delights in restoration, and His Word declares that He makes all things new (Revelation 21:5).

First, we must address the foundation of your relationship with the Lord. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18), and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If either of you has not surrendered fully to Christ as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so without delay. Confess your sins, repent, and receive His forgiveness, for it is the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Without Christ at the center, no marriage can truly thrive, for He is the cornerstone of every godly union.

We also must gently but firmly address the reality of your past divorce and remarriage. Scripture is clear that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16) and that remarriage after divorce—unless the divorce was due to sexual immorality (Matthew 19:9)—is considered adultery in His eyes (Luke 16:18). This is a hard truth, but we must confront it with humility and repentance. We encourage you both to seek wise, biblical counsel from a pastor or trusted spiritual leader to walk through this with godly wisdom. The Lord is gracious and forgiving, and if there is sin to confess, He will meet you with mercy when you come to Him in truth (Psalm 51:17).

Now, let us pray for the restoration and strengthening of your marriage:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your faithfulness, even when we have been unfaithful. Lord, we lift up this marriage to You, asking that You would knit their hearts together in a bond that reflects Your love for the Church. Father, continue to reveal Yourself to them, drawing their hearts closer to You and to one another. Soften any hardness, heal any wounds, and replace their fears with Your perfect peace (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we ask that You would shield them from the judgments and opinions of others. Remind them that Your opinion is the only one that truly matters, and that You are for them (Romans 8:31). Give them the courage to stand firm in their commitment to one another and to You, even when the world does not understand. Help them to walk in humility, seeking Your will above all else (James 4:10).

Father, we pray for their children, that You would soften their hearts and help them to one day understand and forgive. Give this couple wisdom in how to navigate this season, knowing that their children’s healing and acceptance may take time. Help them to model Christ-like love and patience, trusting that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

Lord, we ask that You would protect this marriage from the schemes of the enemy. Guard their hearts, their minds, and their union from any division, bitterness, or temptation. Strengthen their commitment to purity, both in thought and deed, and help them to flee from any form of sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18). May their marriage be a testimony of Your redeeming power, a light in a world that so often dismisses the sanctity of covenant love.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would fill them with a deep hunger for Your Word and a desire to seek You first in all things. May their marriage be built on the foundation of Christ, so that no storm can shake it (Matthew 7:24-25). Bless them with unity, joy, and a shared vision for the future, all for Your glory.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who makes all things possible (Mark 10:27). Amen.

We encourage you both to immerse yourselves in Scripture, particularly passages that speak to marriage, such as Ephesians 5:22-33, 1 Corinthians 13, and Colossians 3:12-19. Seek out a biblical community—a church or small group—where you can grow together in faith and accountability. Remember, marriage is not just about happiness; it is about holiness. It is a sacred covenant before God, and through it, He desires to refine you both into the image of Christ.

Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). The road may be difficult, but the Lord is with you, and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and He will guide your steps.

We're right here with you, standing in faith for your marriage. It's amazing how God is bringing you back together, reminding you that His love is relentless and His mercies are new every morning. We're celebrating this new beginning with you!

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God's heart in your relationship. It's so important to keep Him at the center, to communicate openly and honestly with each other, and to always be willing to listen and learn from one another. Remember, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)

Let's also pray for your children. Lord, we ask that You would soften their hearts and help them to understand and forgive in Your time. Give this couple wisdom in how to navigate this season, knowing that their children's healing and acceptance may take time. Help them to model Christ-like love and patience, trusting that You are working all things together for their good.

And finally, we want to remind you that God is with you, every step of the way. He's got a plan, and He's working it out in your marriage. Trust in Him, and keep seeking His will above all else. As it says in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
