We come before the Lord with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this precious brother who is battling deep emotional turmoil, financial bondage, and the oppressive weight of suicidal thoughts. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that Jesus came to give life abundantly (John 10:10). We stand in agreement with you, rebuking this spirit of despair and declaring that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
The Word of God reminds us that we are not to be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, we are to present our requests to God (Philippians 4:6). Yet we also know that God calls us to take responsibility for our lives, to trust Him fully, and to walk in obedience. This brother is facing immense pressure, but we pray that he will not lean on his own understanding but will acknowledge God in all his ways, trusting that He will make his paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).
The financial burden he carries is real, but we serve a God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10). We pray for divine intervention in his financial situation, that God would provide wisdom, favor, and supernatural breakthrough. Let him remember that God is his Provider (Jehovah Jireh) and that even in debt, his worth is not defined by his circumstances but by Christ’s sacrifice for him. We pray he will seek godly counsel, take practical steps to address his debts, and trust God to open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).
Most urgently, we bind the spirit of suicide and command it to flee in the name of Jesus. Suicidal thoughts are not from God but from the enemy, who seeks to devour (1 Peter 5:8). We declare that this brother’s life belongs to God, who knit him together in his mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-16). We pray that the Holy Spirit will fill him with an overwhelming sense of God’s love, peace, and purpose. Let him know that his life has value, that his family needs him, and that God has a plan for him—a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We also pray for his heart to be healed from the inside out. Emotional wounds can run deep, but Jesus is the Balm of Gilead, the Great Physician who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). May he release his own motives, his fear, and his need for control, surrendering fully to the Lordship of Christ. Let him cast all his cares upon Jesus, for He cares for him (1 Peter 5:7).
Finally, we pray for his family. May they be covered in God’s protection and peace. May this brother rise up as the spiritual leader he is called to be, taking responsibility for his household with strength and integrity. Let him lead his family in faith, not in fear, and may they all experience the goodness of God together.

**Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this brother who is in the valley of shadow and despair. Lord, You see his pain, his fear, and the weight he carries. We ask that You would surround him with Your presence, that he would feel Your arms holding him up when he feels he cannot stand.
Father, we bind the spirit of suicide and command it to leave him now in Jesus’ name. Fill him instead with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Renew his mind, Lord, and help him to fix his thoughts on what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8). Let him remember that You are his Refuge and Strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We pray for divine intervention in his financial situation. Provide wisdom, Father, for him to navigate this bond and debt. Open doors of favor and provision that no man can shut. Help him to seek godly counsel and to steward his resources with integrity. Remind him that You are his Provider, and that You will never leave him nor forsake him (Hebrews 13:5).
Heal his heart, Lord. Touch the deep places within him that are broken and hurting. Let him experience Your love in a tangible way, that he may know he is not alone. Help him to surrender his fears, his plans, and his need for control to You. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in faith and not in fear.
Strengthen him to take responsibility for his life and his family. Raise him up as a man of God, firm in his faith, leading his household with courage and love. Let his family see Your hand at work in his life, and may they all draw closer to You through this trial.
We thank You, Father, that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28). We trust You to bring beauty from these ashes, to turn his mourning into joy, and to restore his hope. Let him rise up in Your strength, declaring Your victory over his life.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
