Servant of All
Please read this entire post. There is alot. Thankyou! Please pray that God will completely heal and give my cat ### a full recovery. She has a ### and ### on her lungs, which could be ### or ###. There is no treatment. Only ### to make her comfortable. God is the only one that can help her now. She is having so many complications from all of this. Please pray that God will take away and ease any pain or discomfort ### is in. Please pray that God will help ### start eating normal food and drinking water again. Please pray that God will help ### have regular bowel movements. Please pray that God will help her breathing and purring. Purring is triggering coughing, she doesnt want affection anymore, because it makes her purr. She was the most affectionate cat I've ever met in my life , and she seems very sad about it. She tries to cuddle and starts coughing and will lay alone and just stare at us. It is heart breaking. Please pray that God will guide my hands and help me give ### all of the ### and ### she needs without hurting her or causing distress. She needs ### pills ### a day, which requires me to pry open her mouth and shove them down her throat. She also needs an ### ### times a day, and a ### at least ### a week. Please pray that God will help me and guide me with all of these things and with all decisions regarding ###. Please pray that when ###'s time comes, God will show her mercy and just take her in her sleep. She is utterly terrified of driving and the Vet , and i refuse to let her be put to sleep there, alone, terrified, shaking, crying, not knowing what is happening or where we are. I will not allow that to be her last moments. Please pray that God will help us find someone that can come to our house and put her down if she needs it. I know she is just a cat, but she is our world. Please pray that God will hear and answer all of my desperate cries and pleas and prayers. Thankyou. In Jesus name I ask of all these things and in Jesus name I pray. Amen.

We hear your heartache and the deep love you have for your beloved cat. While animals are not equal to human life, which is made in God’s image, Scripture does show that God cares for His creation and even notices the sparrows (Matthew 10:29). We join you in praying for mercy, healing, and comfort for your dear pet, trusting in the Lord’s compassion.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Great Physician and the One who holds all life in His hands. You see the suffering of this precious creature and the anguish in the heart of her owner. We ask You, Lord, to intervene with Your healing touch. If it is Your will, restore her lungs, ease her breathing, and remove every trace of illness. Let her eat and drink again without distress, and may her body function as You designed it to. Soften her pain, Lord, and let her know comfort and peace.

We pray for wisdom and gentleness for her caretaker, that every necessary action, whether giving medicine or providing care, would be done with love and without causing unnecessary fear. Guide each decision, Father, and grant discernment about the path ahead. If her time on this earth is coming to an end, we ask that You would take her in her sleep, sparing her from fear and suffering. Lead them to a compassionate veterinarian who can come to the home, so she may pass in familiar surroundings, surrounded by love.

Lord, we also lift up the emotional weight this carries. The bond between a pet and their owner is real, and the grief is valid. Comfort this heart, Father, and remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). You are the God who sees, who hears, and who cares even for the smallest of Your creatures.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, despair, or hopelessness in this situation. Jesus came that we might have life, and life abundantly (John 10:10), and that truth extends to all of Your creation. We stand on Your promises, Lord, trusting that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Whether through healing or through a peaceful passing, may Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified.

We pray all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the One who calms the storms and brings peace that surpasses understanding. Amen.

Hold fast to hope, dear one. God hears your cries, and He is with you in this trial. Even in the waiting, He is working. If her suffering continues without relief, remember that the Lord understands sacrifice and love, He gave His own Son so that we might live. You are showing that same selfless love by seeking what is best for her, even when it is hard. May the Lord strengthen you and give you His peace.

We are so sorry for the pain you’re carrying right now, the frantic worry, the sleeplessness, and the gut-wrenching sight of ### pulling away because something as simple as purring now hurts her. The love you have for her is so clear, and it’s not “just a cat”; God entrusted her to you, and your heart is breaking exactly as He designed it to break when a precious creation suffers. We’re sitting with you in that heartbreak today.

We hear the sheer weight of the round-the-clock care, the pills, the inhaler, the syringe feedings, the delicate dance of trying to help without causing more distress. That is exhausting work, and you’re doing it faithfully. Please give yourself the grace to move gently and accept that some moments will be messy; your steady presence is what matters most to her. If a trusted friend can give you an hour’s break, take it, you can’t pour out what you don’t have.

We’re also praying specifically that God would provide a compassionate vet who can come to your home if that day ever arrives, so ### never faces the car or the clinic. That tender, protective desire you have is not unreasonable; it’s born of love.

A prayer for you now:

Lord Jesus, we lift up ### to You, every labored breath, every untouched bowl of food, every lonely stare. Please relieve her discomfort. Soothe her lungs, quiet her cough, and gently draw her appetite back. If it is Your will, let her purr again without pain and receive affection freely. Guide these hands to give medicine with minimal stress. And Father, hold this caregiver close. Flood this home with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and shoulder the burden that feels too heavy. In Your mercy, grant ### restful days, and when her time is complete, let her slip away in sleep, held in love, not fear. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, who knows every sparrow. Amen.

The cry of a burdened heart, poured out in such detail, ascends not as a mere recitation of ailments but as the very essence of prayer, a soul clinging to the mercy seat with a grip that will not be shaken loose. It is not the eloquence of our words that moves the Father’s heart, but the groaning that cannot be uttered, the breathing that is too deep for speech. You have laid your beloved companion before the Lord, and He has heard. He heard the first whispered “help” before you even shaped the sentence, for the prayer was born in your heart long before it reached your lips. There is more power in that desperate, tear-stained petition than in a thousand polished liturgies; the Lord is near to those who have no other plea.

And is there any creature so small, any anguish so trivial, that it escapes His notice? Not a sparrow falls to the ground without the Father, and He who clothes the grass of the field in splendor is not indifferent to the suffering of this little one who has been your constant, purring shadow. She is a gift, a loan of comfort, and the pain you feel at her withdrawal is the very proof that love, in all its forms, is a trace of Eden. Yet in this fallen world, that love often walks hand in hand with sorrow, and it is in this very hour that faith is refined. The trial is sharp: to love without being able to hold, to give medicine that causes distress, to watch a creature who once craved affection now shrink from it in confusion. These are the crucibles in which our faith is tested, and by God’s grace, you shall not be tested beyond what you are able. He knows the weight of your burden, for He who fashioned the lion and the lamb also bears in His heart the tender concern of a woman for her cat.

You ask for a home-going shrouded in mercy, a quiet slipping away into sleep, far from the terror of unfamiliar hands and cold metal tables. This, too, you may lay at His feet with boldness. He who makes even the valley of the shadow of death a place of His presence can certainly provide the means for a gentle passage. Trust Him for the when and the how; He is as capable of sending a compassionate hand to your door as He is of granting a sudden, miraculous recovery that confuses the physicians. Hold fast to this: He who delivered you from the greater terror of sin’s penalty will not desert you in this lesser, though heart-wrenching, vale of tears. Your prayers are not lost. They are a sweet aroma before the throne, and He who records the tears of His saints in His bottle surely marks the purr of a suffering creature with the same tender attention.

Yet, while you plead for her body, do not neglect to plead for your own soul’s quietness. Agitation and fear can drown out the still small voice that whispers, “It is I; be not afraid.” Cast yourself afresh upon the One who was bruised for you, who knows every grief by His own experience, and who ever lives to make intercession. Your care in giving the medicines, your broken heart at her averted eyes, these are not unnoticed. The pattern of her suffering, the involuntary cough that cuts off a purr, mirrors in a small way the enigma of a world that groans under the weight of a curse that is not yet fully lifted. But the curse is broken in Christ, and the tender mercies of God are over all His works. Therefore, when the tempter whispers that your prayers are too earthbound or too frantic, tell him that the High Priest who entered into the heavens is touched with the feeling of your infirmity, even this one. He does not disdain the prayer that stammers and sobs over a cat, for He sees the love from which it springs.

Go now, and in the very act of prying open that little mouth to give the pill, let your heart be lifted up. Let the giving of medicine be a priestly act of hope, a setting of the seal that you believe God is at work. If the purring now brings coughing, remember that the day is coming when all that hinders joy will be swept away, and the affection that is now a source of pain will be restored in a purer form, either here in a sweet recovery or there in the new creation where the lion and the lamb lie down together. Stand firm, and let not your hands be slack. The Lord who has called you to this duty will supply the steady strength for it, and in His own time He will deliver you and your beloved out of the present distress, to sing of mercy in whatever way His wisdom deems best.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The cries of your heart are not hidden from the Lord who hears the groaning of all creation, even the silent suffering of the least of His creatures. You ask for healing, for mercy, and for deliverance from pain for this little one entrusted to your care. This is not a small matter, for God notes the fall of every sparrow, and He is not indifferent to the affections He has placed within you. Yet know that in your distress, you are being tutored in the very long-suffering of God Himself, who endures with much patience the brokenness of this world, waiting to make known the riches of His glory. As I have said, there is nothing so impenetrable as a long-suffering soul. A spark falling into the deep is quenched; so the unexpected blows of life vanish before a heart anchored in Him. Do not think that your tears are wasted, nor that your desperate prayers are unheard because the answer seems delayed. Even the Apostle Paul cried out for a thorn to be removed, yet received grace sufficient. So too, the woman of Canaan received her daughter's healing only after long importunity. Mercy seeks out those who are worthy, but worthiness itself is forged in the furnace of humble, persistent trust.

Be watchful, then, lest sorrow overwhelm you and breed the despair that says, "We are perished, we are wasted away." That is the voice of those who seek comfort only in shared misery, as if fellowship in suffering could quench the fire. It cannot. The true comfort is not that others suffer likewise, but that Christ Himself has entered into suffering and transformed it. Your care for this cat, your insistence that she not face her last moments in terror, reflects a mercy that God Himself knows. You seek to spare her fear, just as our Lord longs to gather us under His wings. Yet consider: every skill of your hands, every gentle act of giving medicine, is itself a prayer when done in love. When you are pained by her withdrawal, remember that love "is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil." It does not demand affection in return but pours itself out. This love is a husbandman in your soul, rooting out the thorns of impatience and despair. Let it work its patient work in you.

Do not say, "She is just a cat." That is the speech of those who would be harsh judges of others, demanding strict accounts, forgetting how much mercy we ourselves require. You would not call a poor man an impostor for begging bread; neither should you belittle the grief that God has permitted you to feel. Instead, let it drive you to the very throne of grace, where you need a salvation full of pardon and kindness. Every sigh for this suffering creature can become a cry for your own soul's healing, a reminder that we are all vessels of mercy, prepared beforehand for glory. When you give the medicine, when you hold her, when you choose to avoid the terror of the vet's office, you are practicing that very long-suffering which is mightier than armies and walls. Do all that love and wisdom permit; seek out the help you need; but entrust the final hour into the hands of the One who is both just and the justifier. Let your continual coming to this house of healing, your constant prayer, write the law of God upon your heart, so that even in this storm, your soul may enjoy a great calm.
