Urgent prayer for my cat ###

Please read this entire post. There is alot. Thankyou! Please pray that God will completely heal and give my cat ### a full recovery. She has a ### and ### on her lungs, which could be ### or ###. There is no treatment, only medications to make her comfortable. God is the only one that can help her now. She is having so many complications from all of this. Please pray that God will take away and ease any pain or discomfort ### is in. Please pray that God will help ### start eating normal food and drinking water again. Please pray that God will help ### have regular bowel movements. Please pray that God will help her breathing and purring. Purring is triggering coughing, she doesnt want affection anymore. She was the most affectionate cat I've ever met in my life , and she seems very sad about it. She tries to cuddle and starts coughing and will lay alone and just stare at us. It is heart breaking. Please pray that God will guide my hands and help me give ### all of the medication and treatments she needs without hurting her or causing distress. She needs 4 pills twice a day, which requires me to pry open her mouth and shove them down her throat. She also needs an ### 3 times a day, and a ### at least once a week. Please pray that God will help me and guide me with all of these things and with all decisions regarding ###. Please pray that when ###'s time comes, God will show her mercy and just take her in her sleep. She is utterly terrified of driving and the Vet , and i refuse to let her be put to sleep there, alone, terrified, shaking, crying, not knowing what is happening or where we are. I will not allow that to be her last moments. Please pray that God will help us find someone that can come to our house and put her down if she needs it. I know she is just a cat, but she is our world. Please pray that God will hear and answer all of my desperate cries and pleas and prayers. Thankyou. We hear your heartache and desperation, and we join you in lifting up your beloved cat to the Lord. It is clear how deeply you love her, and we recognize the pain of watching a cherished companion suffer. While the world may say she is "just a cat," we know that God cares for all His creation, and your love for her is a reflection of the love He has placed in your heart.

We pray first and foremost for her healing, believing that God is the Great Physician and nothing is impossible for Him. "Is anything too hard for the Lord?" (Genesis 18:14). We ask that He touch her lungs, remove any disease or obstruction, and restore her to full health. May He ease her pain and discomfort, soothing her body and spirit. Lord, we ask that You open her appetite, that she would eat and drink normally again, and that her body would function as You designed it to. Let her breathing come easily, and may her purring return as a sign of her comfort and joy.

We also lift up your hands as you care for her, asking that God guide you in administering her medications and treatments. May He give you patience, gentleness, and wisdom in each moment, so that you can provide for her needs without causing her distress. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5).

We pray for peace in your heart as you make decisions for her care. May God give you clarity and discernment, and may He provide a compassionate solution if the time comes for her to pass. We ask that He grant her a peaceful end, free from fear or suffering, and that she would feel your love and presence in her final moments. "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit" (Psalm 34:18).

We rebuke any spirit of fear or despair in this situation, declaring that God’s love and mercy are greater than any illness or suffering. We stand on the promise that "the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up" (James 5:15). Whether her healing comes in this life or the next, we trust that God’s will is perfect and His love is everlasting.

Father, we thank You for the joy this cat has brought into her family’s life. We ask that You surround them with Your peace and comfort, reminding them that You are near in every moment of grief and uncertainty. Strengthen their faith, and let them feel Your presence as they walk this difficult path. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.

We are so sorry you are walking through this with your precious . The ache of watching a beloved companion suffer, especially when she can no longer receive the affection that once came so easily, is a deep and lonely pain. It is clear how fiercely you love her, and that love is a gift.

As you fight for her, we just want to gently offer a few thoughts that may lighten the weight you are carrying. For the medications that require prying her mouth, perhaps your veterinarian can suggest ways to make it less stressful for both of you, some pills can be hidden in a soft treat or compounded into a liquid that you rub on her gums. And when the time comes that you are considering saying goodbye, you can ask your vet if they know of a mobile service that comes to the home, or you can search online for “in home pet euthanasia” in your area. Many vets understand this desire and can help.

Please know you are not alone in these long, hard days. We are asking God to wrap you in His steadying presence and to give you the gentleness and courage you need for every difficult task.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this dear cat to You. You see her struggle and You see the love of her family. Please comfort her and ease her pain. Calm her breathing and, if it is Your will, restore her appetite and bring moments of peace where she can feel safe and close. Guide her owner’s hands when giving care, and grant wisdom in every decision. When her time on earth is complete, grant her a merciful passing, at home and at rest. Hold this hurting family in Your kindness. Amen.

It has pierced my heart to read of your tender affection for this little creature, and of the heavy burden you now carry. The Lord has taught us that not a sparrow falls to the ground without His notice, and the very hairs of our head are numbered. Shall He not also behold the suffering of this cat, whom you love so dearly? In all your affliction, He is not far off. He is the God of all comfort, who doth not break the bruised reed nor quench the smoking flax.

I would press upon you this word: “This is my comfort in my affliction, for Thy Word hath quickened me.” The outward sorrow is sharp and real; your tears over this poor animal are not unnoticed in heaven. But the inward quickening, the life the Spirit imparts, is the true wellspring of peace. You cry out for mercy upon your cat, and you do well; yet I counsel you, cast yourself with yet greater abandon upon the mercy of God in Christ for your own soul. The tenderness of God is most marvellously displayed toward sinners. The fitness for healing is to be sick; the fitness for pardon is to be a sinner. And if He so pitieth us in our unworthiness, how much more doth He regard our lesser griefs with a Father’s pity?

The singular season for mercy is often the hour of extremity. When all human help faileth, and there is no treatment but to make comfortable, then God delighteth to show Himself strong. He overtook Hagar in the wilderness, when she sat forlorn by the well, and sent her away with a comfortable word. So may He do for you. Whether He shall restore this dear creature to health and purring, or whether in His wisdom He shall take her gently in her sleep, He knoweth the way that you take. I join my prayer with yours, that if her time be come, He will grant her a merciful departure in her own familiar place, without terror or pain. You are right to long that her last moments be not filled with fear; that compassion is but a faint shadow of the tender mercy of our God.

In the present trial, you speak of the grief of her lost affection, and the heavy task of prying open her mouth for pills and treatments. This is a sore tribulation to a loving heart. Yet remember, even here, God can comfort to purpose. He does not always lift the burden, but He quickens us so that we obtain comfort. Cry to Him for steady hands and a calm spirit as you minister to her. He who gently carries the lambs in His bosom will guide you. The pain you now feel, this watching, this labour, this sorrowful staring, shall one day seem like waters that pass away, as the trial yields to the memory of mercy.

You have pleaded in Jesus’ name, and that is a name which openeth the door of mercy wide. He is the Great Interpreter, the Messenger of the Covenant, who can make you feel the way of salvation and rejoice in it. Therefore, comfort one another with these words: the Lord liveth, and He shall do what seemeth Him good. Rest in His wisdom, trust His love, and lean not upon your own understanding. May the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.
