Alisha Kirshman

Servant of All
Please read this entire post. There is alot. Thankyou! Please pray that God will completely heal and give my cat ### a full recovery. She has a ### and ### on her lungs which could be ###. There is no treatment, only medication to keep her comfortable. God is the only one that can help her now. Please pray that God will take away and ease any pain or discomfort she is in. Please pray that God will help her start eating normal food and drinking water. Please pray that God will help her have regular bowel movements. Please pray that God will guide my hands and help me to give her all the medication and treatments she needs without hurting her. I have to give her ### pills, that I have to pry open her mouth and shove down her throat. She also needs an inhaler treatment ### times a day and a subcutaneous fluid iv at least ### a week. We tried to give the iv last night and it went awful. The needle fell out halfway through and I think my partner pierced all the way through her skin the 2nd time because it was leaking all over. So we gave up. We are going to try again on Saturday. Please pray that God will help ### put the needle in properly and that he won't hurt ### doing this and that we can get all the fluid in. Please pray that if God does take her, he will show her mercy and just let her not wake up one day, or that we can find someone to come to the house to put her down. She is utterly terrified of driving and the ### and I cannot bear the thought of her last moments being alone, terrified, shaking, not knowing what's happening or where we are. I cannot do that to her. Please pray that God will give ### and I the strength and the will to fight this. Please pray that God will help me and guide all of my decisions and actions with ###. Please pray that God will hear and answer all of my desperate cries and pleas and prayers and help us. Thankyou. In Jesus name I ask of all these things and in Jesus name I pray. Amen.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your beloved cat and your family in prayer. The Bible tells us in Psalm 50:10-11, "For every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills. I know all the birds of the mountains. The wild animals of the field are mine." Our Heavenly Father cares deeply for all His creation, and we trust in His mercy and healing power.

Father God, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon this precious cat. We pray for a complete and miraculous recovery from the ailments affecting her lungs. Lord, we ask that You ease any pain or discomfort she is experiencing. Grant her the ability to eat normal food and drink water, and restore regularity to her bodily functions. We pray for wisdom and gentleness for those administering her care, that the medications and treatments may be given without causing her harm.

We also lift up the practical challenges faced in her care. Lord, guide the hands of those giving the subcutaneous fluids, that the needle may be placed correctly and the process may be smooth and painless. Give them patience, precision, and a calm spirit as they care for her.

Father, we know that all life is in Your hands, and we trust in Your perfect will. If it is Your plan to call her home, we pray for Your mercy and peace. May she pass gently, without fear or suffering, and may she feel Your loving presence surrounding her. If it is not yet her time, we ask for strength and perseverance for her caregivers, that they may continue to fight for her with hope and faith.

We pray for peace and clarity in decision-making. Guide every step and every choice, that they may be aligned with Your will. Lord, hear the desperate cries of this family and draw near to them in their time of need. Surround them with Your comfort and assurance, reminding them that You are their refuge and strength.

In all things, we trust in You, Lord. We know that nothing is impossible for You, and we place this situation into Your loving hands. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through it all.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We also want to encourage you with the words of Matthew 6:25-27, "Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan?" God cares for you and your beloved pet, and He invites you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and trust in His perfect plan. You are not alone in this journey, and we stand with you in faith, believing in God’s power to work miracles.

I prayed with you for healing of ### >,< and successful help in her treatments in Jesus' name Amen

We’ve been sitting with your words and can feel how much means to you. The way you describe every pill, every treatment, and that difficult IV attempt, it’s clear this is a fierce, tender labor of love. You’re fighting for her with everything in you, and we are praying right alongside you.

That struggle with the subcutaneous fluids really struck us. It’s so discouraging when you want to help but the practical task goes sideways. A small, concrete thing: if your vet hasn’t already demonstrated it again, sometimes watching a technician do it slowly, step by step, can help you both find a rhythm. You could also ask if there’s a veterinary nurse or a mobile vet in your area who could come by and supervise a session or two, many are willing, and it could ease that heavy fear of hurting her. It’s not weakness to lean on that kind of support; it’s wisdom when the weight feels this great.

We’re also holding the tender, painful reality you named: the thought of her last moments being alone and terrified in a car. The love that wants her to feel safe, at home, with you, that is not too much to ask. We’re asking God for mercy whichever way this goes, whether by full healing or by a quiet, peaceful passing when the time comes.

Please, Lord Jesus, we lift up right now. Bring healing to her lungs, ease her discomfort, and restore her appetite, her thirst, and her body’s normal rhythms. Guide these dear hands as they give pills, inhaler treatments, and IV fluids, help them find the right technique and fill the room with calm instead of anxiety. Sustain this couple with strength for each day and wisdom for every decision. And if the end draws near, grant her a gentle release, free from fear, surrounded by the ones she loves. In Your merciful name, amen.

Oh, what a trial is yours, a heavy burden of sorrow for a little creature that has been a companion in your home. Yet, I urge you now, let your cry be unto Him who counts the stars and calls them all by name, who notes the fall of a sparrow and clothes the grass of the field. The Lord looketh upon the anxious heart that pleads for mercy upon a dumb beast, and He doth not turn away. There is no limit to His tender pity, for His mercy is over all His works. Cast, then, this care upon Him, for He careth for you and for that small life now in your hands.

You speak of a broken body and a failing frame; remember, then, that the Great Physician is able to heal where medicines fail. Have you not read, "The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations"? Yes, and that promise of restoration flows down from the Throne above, for Christ Himself is our Tree of Life. If it be His will, He can speak but a word, and the creature shall be made whole. If it be not His will, still He giveth sustaining grace and quiet submission in the darkest hour. Seek now the Lord while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near. Cry out, "Lord, I am not worthy, but Thy mercy is free, and Thou delightest in showing strength where there is no might."

Your hands tremble with the needle and the pill; your heart aches at the thought of causing pain. Is it not so? Then wait upon the Lord, who reneweth strength. They that trust in Him shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary. For the performing of these difficult duties, divine help shall be given. He will steady your hand and give you wisdom; He will make even this a means of drawing you closer to His side. And if it be that the creature must go the way of all flesh, remember that mercy goeth before Him. There is no need for terror; the Lord can give a quiet passing, as one falling asleep. Commit that end into His hands; He is very pitiful and of great kindness.

Only take heed that you do not allow this trial to drive you from the throne of grace, but rather let it bind you faster to the hope set before you in Christ Jesus. We have mercy through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. That mercy is your standing ground, your comfort, your all. Lay hold of it now, and say, "Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him." For whether in life or in death, the Lord is with those who fear Him, and His eye is ever upon them. May He grant you peace, and may the God of all consolation sustain you and your companion in this hour of need.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

For the word of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but to us which are saved it is the power of God. Observe, how when one is continuing in prayer, when one is in charity, then it is that the Spirit draws near. Reckon up therefore the medicines which heal thy wounds, and apply all unremittingly, humbleness, confession, forgetting wrongs, giving thanks in afflictions, showing mercy both in alms and actions, persevering in prayer. So did the widow propitiate the cruel and unyielding judge. Nay even sweeter than sleep is this sort of death, if report say true.

Your deep love for your cat is clear, and the weight of care you are carrying is heavy. It is not wrong to pour out your heart before God over a creature He entrusted to your keeping. Scripture shows us that even the small household pet holds a place in family life, and God notices the concerns of His people, no matter how small they seem. The One who watches the sparrow sees your distress and hears your cry for mercy.

When my own companions have been sick, I have humbled myself and prayed, and those prayers returned to me not empty but as a comfort, reminding me that God is near. And so we pray for your cat now, that God in His sovereign power would bring healing, ease her pain, restore her appetite, and bring her body back to strength. We ask for steady hands as you give the pills, deliver the inhaler, and administer the fluids. It is frightening when the needle slips or the treatment goes awry; you are not alone in that frustration. Ask God for wisdom and calm, and he will give it in the moment. He promises to guide the hands of those who look to Him.

At the same time, we must hold this plea with open hands, because healing is not mechanical. The same apostle who saw many miraculously healed also watched a dear fellow worker lie sick nearly to the point of death, and he did not pretend to have a neat answer. God had mercy then, but we cannot demand that mercy always looks like recovery. Beware of anyone who tells you that your cat must be healed if you only have enough faith, or that some hidden sin stands in the way. That is a cruel burden and not the truth. God’s ways are beyond tracing out, and His choices are His own. Our part is to ask with trust, not to carry guilt.

So pray boldly, and know that the prayer of faith is offered in the name of the Lord, yet the Lord remains free. If He grants recovery, we will rejoice. If He decides to take her, then we ask Him to show mercy at the end: that she would slip gently away without terror, without that final car ride that she dreads. You are right to desire mercy in death, and I will join you in that request, that if her earthly days are few, the end would be peaceful and you would be spared the anguish of a frightened departure.

While you do battle for her, do not let the burden destroy your own soul. The world is passing, and our time is short; hold these cares in a way that keeps you free, not crushed. Do what is needed, love her well, give the medicine, but cast the outcome onto God. He sees. He hears. He will strengthen you and your partner to do what is right, even when you are spent. Take your help from the body of Christ as well: if you have elders who pray for the sick, call on them. Do not face this alone.

May the Lord whose touch once calmed the storm now still your heart and bring His peace into that home. In Jesus’ name, we lift these things to the throne of grace.
