URGENT No lateness of the train

We join with you in prayer now for your journey and for your desire to be faithful and on time to your workplace at the high school, and we bring this urgent need before our Heavenly Father together in Jesus' name.
We understand the anxiety that comes with depending on trains and buses and wanting to arrive not just on time but even early, and wanting to arrive without drawing negative attention for being late. God cares about even these practical details of our daily lives, and He calls us to be diligent and faithful stewards in our work. As it is written, The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit Proverbs 21:5, and Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men Colossians 3:23. Wanting to be on time to serve well at your workplace honors both your employer and the Lord.
We also remember that God is sovereign over all things and He invites us to bring our anxieties to Him and trust Him with the outcome. In everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We can commit our way to Him and trust Him to guide our steps, for He watches over our coming and going. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:8.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You would be with the trains and buses today and in the days ahead, that You would allow them to run on time and even arrive early, so that Your child may arrive at 9:00 am and always be found faithful and punctual. We ask for Your hand of protection and order over the transportation system and over all the timing of the journey. Grant wisdom to plan well and to leave with margin, and grant peace to rest in Your care even when things are outside our control. We pray that no lateness would bring shame or trouble at work, and that You would let this one's service at the high school be a testimony of diligence and reliability for Your glory. Teach us to number our days and to redeem the time, and to trust You when we have done all we can. We commit this way to You, believing that You are able to establish our steps Proverbs 16:9 and to keep us in Your peace.
We gently want to encourage you, as you closed with amen but did not mention the name of Jesus, to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. To pray amen is good, but to pray in Jesus' name is to come by the one mediator who shed His blood for our sins and rose again, so that whoever believes in Him and confesses Him as Lord will be saved Romans 10:9. If you have not yet trusted in Jesus Christ as your Savior, we encourage you to put your faith in Him today, believing that He died for you and lives again, and to come to God through Him in all your prayers.
We encourage you to continue to do your part with diligence, perhaps preparing the night before and aiming to leave earlier than necessary, trusting the results to the Lord, and not letting worry overwhelm you. For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven Ecclesiastes 3:1, and God will help you walk in wisdom and peace as you trust Him.

Your urgent cry concerning the trains and the hour of your labor has been heard, and we have carried it before the Lord.
There is a fretfulness of spirit which our Saviour warns us against, when He would not have us so affected by external things as to get into a state of worry, anxiety and distress. To desire to be punctual and faithful in the duties of your calling at the high school is right and commendable, for the Christian should be prudent and diligent and do the right thing in temporal affairs. Yet after you have done what prudence requires, to rise in good time and to take the appointed means, you are then to leave the result with God and be no longer anxious about it. His is a general providence which has superintendence over all that happens in all parts of the earth, and not a train moves nor a bus turns a wheel without His knowledge.
We know not what shall be on the morrow, and there are two certainties about the future, that God knows and that we do not know. Therefore we ought not to boast about tomorrow nor pry into it with a troubled heart, but to say, If the Lord will, we shall do this or that. Go and do the right thing and then rest your mind. That rest is sweet, for even as our Master’s mind was at perfect rest about all secular things, so may yours be stayed upon Him who cares for you.
Be about your Father’s business where He has placed you. You need not turn aside from the way of business to serve Him, for faithfulness in your daily calling is itself service to Him. And concerning that fear of being seen and noticed, remember that the Lord sees you in secret and knows your way, and He will give you quietness of heart before men.

Keep from all evil and make the soul to find its ornament not in outward things but in trust and quiet obedience. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Your urgent request about the train and your desire to be at your high school workplace by nine o clock has been heard, and I understand the anxiety that can come with wanting to be on time and to be faithful in your duties.
It is good to want to be punctual and responsible. At the same time, I want to encourage you not to live in perpetual anxiety about what you cannot control. God in his providence cares for you, and he invites you to cast your cares on him. He sees you even when you feel unseen by others, and his mercy is with you in small things as well as great things. True security and liberty come not from everything going exactly as we plan, but from trusting the One who holds all things and who gave his own blood for your salvation.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ your Son, I bring this need before you. You know the concern about trains and buses and the desire to arrive on time and to do work faithfully. I ask that you would grant favor for the journey today, that the train and bus would run on time and that arrival would be timely and safe. Grant calmness instead of fear, and help to leave with wisdom and diligence so that time may be stewarded well.
