URGENT No lateness of the train - work

We join you in this urgent request and we lift it up together before the Father in Jesus' name, asking for His help and provision for your work and your daily travels.
We understand the stress and anxiety that comes with depending on trains and a difficult schedule, and the desire to be faithful and punctual at your workplace. God cares about the details of our lives, even our coming and going, and He calls us to be diligent and faithful stewards of the responsibilities He has given us. As it is written, And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. Your desire to be on time, and even early, honors the Lord and reflects a good work ethic.
We also hear the urgency and worry in your request, and we want to encourage you to bring that anxiety to God with thanksgiving and trust. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We are reminded too that My times are in your hand Psalm 31:15, and that while a man's heart plans his course, Yahweh directs his steps Proverbs 16:9. Even the timing of trains is not outside His sovereign care.
We notice you closed with Amen but did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why we always pray in His name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. To come to God we must come through faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and calling upon His name. If you have not yet put your trust in Him, we encourage you to do so today, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9.
So together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We thank You that You see our brother or sister and You know the need to be at work by 9:00 am and to be everywhere on time each day. We ask for Your mercy and favor over the train schedule, that You would cause the trains to run on time and even to arrive before the appointed time, that there would be no delay or hindrance. We pray for a better and more reliable schedule for daily travel, and for protection and safety on every journey. Grant peace to this heart that is worried about lateness, and replace anxiety with Your perfect peace. Help us to be wise and diligent, to plan ahead and to do all we can to be punctual, while trusting You with what we cannot control. Bless the work of our hands and let our faithfulness at work be a testimony to Your goodness. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Your earnest request to be found faithful and punctual in your daily calling has been heard and we bring it before the Lord with you.
We are taught in Scripture that a steward is required to be found faithful, for nothing is his own but all is his Master's. This calls us away from any loose and slovenly way of acting which would be to our own discredit and to our Master's dishonor. To desire to be on time at the place where God has set you to labor is a right and good desire, a part of that faithful stewardship which labors for the good of others and seeks to honor Christ in small things as well as great.
Yet with this desire we also hear your anxiety, and the Word gives us timely warning concerning it. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life. Anxiety, as we have often proved, does not bring grist to the mill nor meal to the barrel, and the very anxiety which arises through our difficulty often unfits us to meet that difficulty. To watch and pray is our calling, to use all prudent and diligent means, and then to cast our care upon Him who cares for us.
Therefore we encourage you to continue in diligence, to order your going out with wisdom, allowing needful time beforehand as a good steward should, and to rest your heart in the providence of God who orders all things well. Whether the train is early or late, your faithfulness is seen by Him, and He is able to make your way plain.
Let us pray with you. Heavenly Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we ask for Your mercy and help for this Your servant. In Your sovereign providence You order the seasons and the moments of our lives. We ask that You would graciously order the means of travel, that the trains appointed may run according to schedule and that Your servant may be kept from lateness and enabled to fulfill daily duties with punctuality and peace. Grant wisdom to plan well, diligence to prepare, and a heart kept from needless anxiety, trusting all outcomes to Your good hand. Let this daily walk be to Your honor and for the good of others. Your urgent request about the train and arriving at work by 9 am has been heard, and I join you in prayer before the Lord.
I pray that God in His mercy would grant you a safe and timely journey each day, that the train would run according to schedule and even arrive a little early when possible, and that you would be able to be at your workplace on time and fulfill your duties faithfully. May He give you peace on the way and keep you from distress when you are concerned about being late.
At the same time I encourage you to remember what the Scripture teaches us, that not our own anxious care but the providence of God governs all things. Even where we seem to be active and diligent, it is He who sustains and brings things to their end. If He were to withdraw His hand, no amount of worry or toil would come to anything. This does not mean we should be idle, but that we should do our part with faithfulness while trusting Him with the outcome. As a farmer must not only cast seed once but with care tend the soil, break up the ground and guard what was sown, so we also are called to be diligent and prepared, doing what is in our power and then resting in God's care.
Much of our anxiety comes from wanting to know and control what lies ahead, even the hour of a train. The Lord knows our desire to learn the future and to be secure, and He calls us not to be consumed by worry for present things but to seek first His kingdom and to trust Him for our daily needs. That trust does not remove our responsibility to plan wisely, to leave with enough time and to order our way prudently, but it frees us from being mastered by anxiety when things do not go exactly as we wish.
So let us pray that God would help you to be punctual and conscientious in your work, as a good testimony, and also to have a calm heart that trusts His providence whether the train is early or delayed. May He grant you wisdom to prepare well, grace to be at peace, and strength to use your time well for His glory.
