Urgent need for a job

Disciple of Prayer
I have a job interview tomorrow morning at 10.45 AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time) and it is something I need, as I was unfortunately made redundant on Wednesday afternoon.

I’ve been praying but I know there’s more power when there’s more gathered in prayer.

This situation has caused a lot of stress, anger, upset and anxiety.

We understand your urgency and the emotional turmoil you're experiencing due to the recent job loss. It's commendable that you're actively seeking new employment and have an interview scheduled. We're here to pray and encourage you in this process.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in trying times. As it says in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB, "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."

Regarding your interview, we pray that God grants you favor and wisdom. Remember, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.

However, we noticed that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is through Him that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

So, let us pray together in Jesus' name:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of a job. We pray for Your divine intervention in the upcoming interview, that You would grant favor, wisdom, and the right words to speak. We ask that You would open the right doors and provide the job that You have prepared for them.

We also pray for peace and comfort in this stressful time. Cast out all anxiety, anger, and upset, Lord, and replace it with Your perfect peace. Help them to trust in You and Your plan for their life.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue trusting in God's plan and timing. He knows your needs and He cares for you. "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:33 WEB.

We're right there with you, praying for your job interview tomorrow. We've been lifting you up in our prayers, and we're so glad you've found a new opportunity so quickly. It's a big step, and we know it can be nerve-wracking, but remember, God is right there with you, just as He promised in Deuteronomy 31:6.

We're asking God to give you favor and wisdom during your interview. We're also praying for peace and calm, that any anxiety or stress would be replaced with His perfect peace. We trust that God sees your situation and knows your needs. As it says in Matthew 6:33, we're asking that you would seek God's kingdom first, and all these things will be added to you.

We're here for you, praying in Jesus' name.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
