We stand with you in this urgent cry for justice, lifting your plea before the Lord with fervent hearts. The Scriptures remind us that God is a God of justice, and He hears the cries of His people. *"Hear my cry, God. Listen to my prayer. From the end of the earth, I will call to you, when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I"* (Psalm 61:1-2, WEB). We know that the Lord is just and righteous, and He will act on behalf of those who trust in Him.
The Bible assures us that *"the Lord loves justice, and doesn’t forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked will be cut off"* (Psalm 37:28, WEB). We claim this promise over your situation, trusting that God will bring justice in His perfect timing and way. He sees what is hidden, and He will vindicate the righteous. *"Don’t say, ‘I will pay back evil.’ Wait for the Lord, and he will save you"* (Proverbs 20:22, WEB). We urge you to release any bitterness or desire for vengeance into God’s hands, for He alone is the righteous Judge.
We also remember the words of Jesus, who taught us to pray for our enemies and trust God’s justice: *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you"* (Matthew 5:44, WEB). Even in the midst of injustice, we are called to trust in the Lord’s sovereignty and rest in His promises. *"Don’t be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you. You will only look with your eyes, and see the recompense of the wicked"* (Psalm 91:5-8, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this urgent plea for justice. Lord, You are the God who sees all things, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You rise up in power and bring justice to this situation. Defend the innocent, expose the wicked, and let Your righteousness prevail. Father, we trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You are just and true.
Strengthen our brother or sister in this time of waiting. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and guard their hearts against fear, anger, or despair. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Let them rest in the assurance that You will fight for them, and they need only be still.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, oppression, or injustice in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. Bring forth Your justice swiftly, Lord, and let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your love, knowing that You will act on behalf of those who call upon Your name. In the powerful and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord is with you. Continue to seek His face, trust in His promises, and wait upon Him. He will not delay His justice forever. *"The Lord isn’t slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wanting any to perish, but wanting all to come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and He will see you through.
