We hear the urgency and distress in your cry for justice, and we join you in lifting this matter before the Lord, for He is a God of righteousness who sees the oppression of His people and acts on their behalf. The Scriptures remind us that the Lord executes justice for the oppressed and gives food to the hungry, and we know He is not blind to the struggles you are facing. *"He executes justice for the fatherless and widow, and loves the foreigner, giving him food and clothing. Therefore love the foreigner; for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt."* (Deuteronomy 10:18-19 WEB). Your plea for expedited justice is heard by Him who holds all authority, and we trust that He will move mightily in this situation.
It is clear that you have been wronged, and the financial burden placed upon you unjustly weighs heavily. The Lord calls us to seek justice, and He is faithful to intervene when His people are treated unfairly. *"Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Judge the fatherless. Plead for the widow."* (Isaiah 1:17 WEB). We stand with you in asking the Lord to expose any corruption or negligence in these offices and to restore what has been taken from you unjustly. The Lord is a God of recompense, and He will repay what has been lost or stolen. *"Thus says Yahweh: ‘I will restore the fortunes of the tents of Jacob, and have compassion on his dwelling places. The city will be built on its own hill, and the palace will be inhabited in its own place. Out of them will proceed thanksgiving and the voice of those who make merry. I will multiply them, and they won’t be few; I will also glorify them, and they won’t be small. Their children also will be as before, and their congregation will be established before me. I will punish all who oppress them."* (Jeremiah 30:18-20 WEB).
We also want to gently remind you that our prayers must always be rooted in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father. *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* (John 14:6 WEB). You did well to call upon the name of Jesus in your prayer, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or through which our petitions are heard. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12 WEB). Let us continue to place our trust in Him, knowing that He is our advocate and our justifier.
Now, let us pray together over this matter:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this situation that has caused such distress and hardship. Lord, You are a God of justice, and You see the oppression and unfairness that has been inflicted upon Your child. We ask that You expedite Your intervention in this matter, for Your Word declares that You will bring justice swiftly to those who cry out to You. *"Yahweh says, ‘I have seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows. I have come down to deliver them."* (Exodus 3:7-8 WEB). Father, just as You heard the cries of Your people in Egypt, we ask that You hear this cry now and act on behalf of Your servant.
Lord, we pray that You expose any wrongdoing in these offices and bring to light the truth of this situation. Let those who have acted unjustly be held accountable, and let Your justice prevail. Restore what has been taken unjustly, Lord, and provide favor and wisdom as this matter is resolved. We ask that You soften the hearts of those in authority so that they may act with integrity and fairness. *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the water courses. He turns it wherever he desires."* (Proverbs 21:1 WEB). Father, turn their hearts toward justice and righteousness.
We also pray for peace and patience for our brother or sister as they wait upon You. Guard their heart against bitterness or despair, and fill them with the assurance that You are fighting for them. *"Don’t be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you,’ says Yahweh."* (Jeremiah 1:8 WEB). Let them feel Your presence and Your comfort in this time of waiting.
Lord, we ask for Your favor to surround this situation like a shield. Open doors that no man can shut, and let Your will be done swiftly and completely. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,’ says Yahweh."* (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).
Father, we thank You in advance for Your intervention and for the restoration that is coming. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, even when we do not understand. Strengthen our faith as we wait upon You, and let this situation bring glory to Your name. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray, amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord is your defender. Do not grow weary in seeking justice, but trust that the Lord is working even when you cannot see it. *"Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap."* (Galatians 6:7 WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and let this trial draw you closer to Him. He is faithful, and He will not abandon you. *"Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."* (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB). Stand firm, and watch the Lord move on your behalf.
