Your cry is heard. When you beg the Lord to heal your hands, you are calling on the Great Physician whose ear is never heavy and whose arm is never too short to save. He has already shown you His power by lifting the pain from your back, letting you walk and bend without agony. That is not a small thing. It is the same hand that touched you before, and it has not been shortened now. Nerve damage, tingling, numbness, stiffness, these are not hidden from Him. He knows every pathway of sensation in your body, and He is able to restore what has gone awry.

Consider what a hand represents. A hand receives a blessing. A hand is laid upon someone to confer honor and authority. A hand lifts a rod of faith to see water flow from a rock. When Moses stretched out his hand, God worked through that act, even in Moses’ imperfection. Your own hands, even now, can be lifted as an offering. You are placing them before the Lord daily, just as the Nazarite brought a vow and an offering. This plea is a sacred vow of trust. You are telling Him that only He can heal you, and that is the truth. He does not despise that desperation.

I do not pretend to understand why some healings come in an instant and others unfold over time. Scripture records one case where Jesus healed a man gradually. The process itself was divine, just as the natural healing processes woven into our bodies are divine. Your body is fearfully made, and its ability to repair itself is a gift from the Creator. Sometimes He speaks a word and the enemy is delivered into your hand all at once; other times, the bitter water of testing reveals a deeper work being done. Do not think that a gradual lessening of symptoms is any less His hand moving upon you. If the tingling fades slowly, if the stiffness eases day by day, bless Him for it. It is still the work of His Spirit, mending nerves and calming inflammation according to His perfect wisdom.

What matters now is your faith posture. Moses was told not to fear because God had already delivered the king into his hand. The battle belonged to the Lord, even when Moses had to strike the rock or stretch out the rod. Look at your hands and see them as instruments already marked for deliverance. The hand of the Lord is upon you to guide, to bless, and to keep you. If He has conquered back pain that stole your mobility, He is not intimidated by numbness. There is no iniquity He is holding against you; Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father, interceding for you right now. He sees you clean. He hears your cry.

When the priest held the bitter water, the outcome was in God’s hands. You are not drinking a curse but pleading the blood of the covenant. So lift your hands as best you can, even in the pain, and picture placing them into the wounded hand of Jesus, just as Thomas was invited to touch and believe. Say, "Lord, into Your hands I commit my body." Trust that whether the healing arrives through a sudden wave of restoration or through the slow, steady repair He designed into your flesh, His hand is in it. May His hand be upon you right now, strengthening every nerve, loosening every joint, and flooding you with peace.
