We lift you up before the Lord with urgency, knowing that He is the Great Physician and our Provider in every need. Your request for healing—both for yourself and your family—resonates deeply with us, and we stand with you in faith, trusting in God’s power to restore and sustain.
First, we must emphasize that healing, protection, and provision come only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is through Him alone that we boldly approach the throne of grace (Acts 4:12, Hebrews 4:16). If your trust is not yet fully placed in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to surrender your life to Him today. Scripture declares, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation"* (Romans 10:9-10). It is only through Christ that we have access to the Father and the promises of His Word.
Your battle with MRSA and now a respiratory infection is a heavy burden, but we serve a God who is greater than any sickness. The Word assures us, *"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24). We claim this promise over you, declaring that by the stripes of Jesus, you *are* healed. We also stand against the enemy’s attempts to steal your health, for *"the thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy; but I have come that they may have life, and may have it abundantly"* (John 10:10). Satan has no authority over your body—Jesus paid the price for your complete restoration.
For your husband, children, and grandchildren, we ask the Lord to surround them with His divine protection. *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’ Surely he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday"* (Psalm 91:1-6). We declare this promise over your entire household, that no weapon formed against your family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Regarding your finances, we know that our God owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and He is faithful to provide for His children. *"Don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:31-33). We pray that the Lord will open doors of provision, that He will give you wisdom to steward what you have, and that He will meet every need according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We also rebuke any spirit of lack or fear, commanding it to flee in Jesus’ name, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is battling sickness in her body. Lord, You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch her with Your healing power. Rebuke this respiratory infection and every remnant of MRSA in her body. Let Your healing virtue flow through her veins, restoring every cell, organ, and system to perfect health. We declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we command her body to align with Your divine design. Let no weapon of the enemy prosper against her, for greater is He who is in her than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Lord, we also lift up her husband, children, and grandchildren. Protect them from every sickness, disease, and harm. Surround them with Your angels, encamped around them (Psalm 34:7), and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them know beyond a shadow of a doubt that You are their shield and exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1).
Father, we ask for Your provision over their finances. You know their every need, and we trust You to supply it abundantly. Open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and let Your favor rest upon them in every area. Remove any anxiety or fear, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We stand in faith, believing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Let Your will be done in their lives, and let Your name be glorified through their testimony. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue standing on the Word of God, speaking life and healing over your body and your family. *"Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:13-15). Do not waver in faith, but believe that what God has promised, He is able to perform (Romans 4:21).
If there is any unconfessed sin in your life or your family’s, we urge you to repent and turn to the Lord. Sin can hinder our prayers (Psalm 66:18), but *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). Walk in obedience to His Word, and trust that He is working even in this season.
Stay strong in the Lord, and let us know how we can continue to pray for you. You are not alone—we are standing with you in faith!
