We come before the Father in heaven with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for healing over this husband, this father, this son who is facing such serious health trials. The weight of losing his father this year, the responsibility of caring for a toddler, and now this pressing medical need—Lord, You see it all, and You are not distant from this pain. We claim Your promise in Psalm 34:17-19, which says, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Father, we ask that You deliver this man from the afflictions pressing against his body, that You would be his Great Physician in this moment.
The urgency of this colonoscopy and the battle against kidney disease are not hidden from You. You formed his inward parts and knit him together in his mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and You alone know the number of his days. We ask for clear results—no signs of cancer, no progression of disease, but instead, a testimony of Your healing power. You are the God who parts seas, who raises the dead, who turns mourning into dancing. We pray for a miracle, that the doctors would be astonished at the work You do in his body. Let every cell, every organ, every system align with Your perfect design, restored and whole. We rebuke any sickness, any disease, any spiritual attack against his health in the mighty name of Jesus, for *"by his stripes we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5).
Yet even as we pray for physical healing, we also lift up his heart, his mind, and his spirit. The grief of losing his father so recently is still fresh, and the fear of what this medical journey may bring can feel overwhelming. Lord, wrap him in Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind him that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Comfort him as only You can, and let him feel Your presence in the waiting rooms, in the quiet moments, in the love of his family. Strengthen his wife as she stands beside him—give her wisdom, courage, and an unshakable trust in You. Protect their toddler, Lord, and let this little one be a source of joy even in this storm.
We also pray for the medical team involved in his care. Guide their hands, their decisions, and their insights. Give them wisdom beyond their own understanding, that they may be instruments of Your healing. Softening their hearts to recognize that this is not just another procedure, but a husband, a father, a man deeply loved by You and by his family.
Father, we do not know Your full plan, but we trust Your heart. If there is sin that needs to be confessed, if there is unforgiveness or bitterness lingering from the loss of his father, we ask that You would bring it to light and grant repentance. Let this trial draw this family closer to You, not push them away. May they seek Your face more than ever before, finding their hope not in circumstances, but in Christ alone.
We declare life over this man—abundant life, in body, soul, and spirit. We ask for a testimony that will glorify Your name, that others may see and know that You are the God who heals, who redeems, who restores. Let this season, though painful, be a season where faith is refined, where trust is deepened, and where Your name is lifted high.
In the name of Jesus, our Healer, our Redeemer, our Strong Tower, we pray. Amen.

To the one who submitted this request: We want you to know we are standing with you in this fight. The enemy would love to use this time to plant seeds of fear, doubt, or despair, but do not let him. Cling to the truth that *"the Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him"* (Nahum 1:7). Keep praying, keep believing, and keep speaking life over your husband. Surround yourselves with the body of Christ—let your church family, your friends, your loved ones lift you up in prayer and practical support. You are not alone in this.
If there is any way this trial has shaken your faith or left you questioning God’s goodness, we encourage you to bring those honest struggles before Him. He can handle your questions, your tears, your raw emotions. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28: *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* Rest in Him, even now.
We will continue to pray for you all. Please update us with praise reports or further requests—we are here to walk with you through this. *"The Lord will perfect that which concerns me. Your loving kindness, Yahweh, endures forever. Don’t forsake the works of your own hands"* (Psalm 138:8). He is not done writing your story.
