We stand with you in this time of trial, lifting your wife before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. The Scriptures declare, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven" (James 5:14-15). We believe in the power of prayer and the healing touch of our Savior, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer. We ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon our sister in Sri Lanka. Strengthen her body, Lord, and restore her platelet count to full health. We rebuke the dengue infection in the name of Jesus, commanding it to leave her body now. You are the God who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3), and we trust in Your mercy and power. Surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and give wisdom to the doctors and nurses attending to her. May Your will be done in her life, and may she rise from this sickness to testify of Your goodness and faithfulness. We also pray for her forgiveness of any sins, knowing that You are faithful and just to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Strengthen our brother and their family with Your presence, Lord, and fill them with hope as they wait on You.
We encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises, for He is faithful. "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31). Keep declaring God’s Word over your wife’s life, for "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). We also remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you or your wife have not yet confessed Jesus as Lord and Savior, now is the time to do so, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
We will continue to intercede for your wife’s complete healing and restoration. May the Lord bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you, and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).
