We join together in lifting up this precious sister and her newborn before the throne of grace, where we may obtain mercy and find help in time of need. What a mighty testimony it is to see God’s faithfulness in bringing this little one safely into the world, even amid such trials! Yet we know the battle is not over, and so we come boldly before our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician and the source of all healing.
The Word of God assures us in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh; because they have called you an outcast, saying, ‘It is Zion, whom no man seeks after.’"* And again in Psalm 103:2-4, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits— who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies."* We stand on these promises today, declaring that God is not done writing this story of restoration.
Yet we must also acknowledge that healing comes by faith in the name of Jesus Christ alone. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His stripes that we are healed (1 Peter 2:24). We are grateful that this request was lifted in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Let us never forget that our prayers are heard because of the righteousness of Christ, not our own.
Now, we pray with urgency and expectation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the safe delivery of this precious child, a gift from Your hand. Yet we also come with deep concern for this mother, who continues to battle the effects of Dengue. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask that You stretch forth Your hand and touch her body with Your restoring power. Rebuild her strength, renew her blood, and drive out every trace of this illness. Let her recovery be swift and complete, a testimony to Your goodness.
We pray for her newborn, Lord—protect this little one from all harm. Shield them with Your angels and grant them robust health. May this child grow in strength and wisdom, and may their life bring glory to Your name.
Father, we ask for divine wisdom to rest upon the medical team caring for this mother. Guide their hands, sharpen their minds, and fill their hearts with compassion. May they act with skill and discernment, using every tool You have provided to bring about healing.
And Lord, we lift up this family in their time of weariness. Comfort them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, remind them of Your promises, and let them feel Your presence in tangible ways. When fear creeps in, replace it with hope. When weakness threatens, fill them with Your power.
We rebuke every spirit of sickness, infirmity, and despair in the name of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that the blood of Jesus covers them, and by His wounds, they are healed.
Finally, Father, we ask that You use this trial to draw this family closer to You. May they emerge from this season with a deeper trust in Your sovereignty and a greater passion for Your kingdom. Let their story be one of Your faithfulness, shared for Your glory.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
To the family and friends waiting on this miracle: do not grow weary in prayer. Keep standing in faith, for our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Cling to His promises, and let your hearts be filled with praise even in the waiting. He who began this good work will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6). Stay encouraged, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith.
