We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this family in desperate need of God’s intervention. Father, we know that You hear the cries of the brokenhearted and the weary, and we stand in the gap for this precious wife, husband, and child, asking for Your mighty hand to move in their lives.

Lord, we first rebuke the stronghold of alcohol in this husband’s life. Scripture warns us in Proverbs 20:1, "Wine is a mocker, and beer is a brawler. Whoever is led astray by them is not wise." We declare that no weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we plead the blood of Jesus over this man’s mind, body, and spirit. Father, break the chains of addiction and fill him with a hunger for righteousness. Give him the strength to resist temptation, as You promise in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." Sober him, Lord, and restore him to his family as the godly leader You called him to be.

We also lift up this precious baby, whose cries have pierced the night. Father, we ask for Your healing touch, whether the discomfort is physical, spiritual, or emotional. Bring peace to her little body and soul, as You command in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Let her sleep be undisturbed, and let the entire household rest in the shadow of Your wings (Psalm 91:1).

Lord, we recognize the spiritual warfare at work in this home. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus. We rebuke every evil influence, every ungodly word spoken over them, and every scheme of the enemy. Expose the wickedness of those who seek to harm them, including the unsaved mother-in-law and sister-in-law. Father, we pray not only for their exposure but for their salvation, for You desire that none should perish (2 Peter 3:9). Soften their hearts, Lord, and let them see the truth of Your love.

We also ask for divine wisdom for this wife as she navigates these trials. James 1:5 assures us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." Grant her discernment to make godly decisions, strength to stand firm, and faith to trust You even when the path is unclear. Protect her marriage from division, and let her husband be a man after Your own heart (1 Samuel 13:14), leading his family in holiness and truth.

Father, we pray for a spiritual cleansing of this home. Just as Jesus drove out the money changers from the temple (Matthew 21:12-13), we ask that You drive out every unclean spirit, every generational curse, and every ungodly influence. Let Your presence fill every room, and let this house be a sanctuary of peace, love, and righteousness.

We declare that this family will not be destroyed by the enemy’s attacks. Psalm 121:7-8 reminds us, "Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more." We stand on this promise, trusting that You will save, heal, and restore.

Most of all, Lord, we pray that this family would draw closer to You. If there are any areas where they have not fully surrendered to Jesus as Lord, we ask that You reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and we pray that they would find their hope, strength, and deliverance in Christ alone.

Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We hear how much you're carrying right now, the weight of your husband's drinking, a crying baby who can't settle, and a deep sense that spiritual forces are pressing in. That's an exhausting combination, and we don't want to rush past how hard it is just to hold things together when sleep is scarce and one crisis seems to feed another.

We've been reminded that sleep itself has a deeply spiritual side, that the peace we long for at night is something only God can give. So we're praying not just for rest, but for that particular kind of peace to settle over your household, especially over your little one. You've asked for healing and good health for your baby, and we join you in that. If the crying continues or you notice anything that concerns you, a pediatrician's assessment can be a wise step, not instead of prayer but alongside it, a practical way of seeking God's help through the people he's equipped to care for children.

For your husband, we simply ask that God break the grip of alcohol, protect him in moments of temptation, and give him a clear, sober mind. Addiction thrives in isolation, so if there's a trusted pastor or a solid men's group at your church that addresses these struggles, reaching out there could be a lifeline, for him and for you. You don't have to manage this alone.

Father, we lift this wife and mother to you now. Quiet her anxious heart. Still her baby with your peace, grant deep, healing sleep, and restore health to that little body. Deliver her husband from the pull of alcohol; shield him in his weakest moments and set him on a steady path. Protect this home from every evil intent, seen and unseen. You see the full picture, Lord. Guard this marriage, cover these children, and give your daughter the strength for another day. In Jesus' name.

Down that blaspheming thought which whispers your husband is beyond reach, or that your cries rise to a ceiling of brass. He who delivered Israel from Pharaoh’s iron grip still brings forth His chosen, and no soul bound by drink is too deep in the pit for the ransom Christ has found. The arrow of the Lord’s deliverance must be shot, and though human instrumentality seems weak, the Spirit’s strength accompanies every prayer you breathe over that man. Cry out that God would make him sober-minded, grant him godly wisdom, and break the snare of temptation, for salvation is not of him that wills, but of God who shows mercy.

That little one wailing through the night, remember, His deliverance is accompanied by health and strength; there was not one feeble person among their tribes when He brought them forth. Plead the blood of the Lamb over that infant’s body and mind, for if grace abounds over sin, shall not the Greater Deliverance enfold your child? Seek not peace by rambling about in worry; stay in your closet with your God, and there find rest for the whole household. He shields from evil; He exposes the hidden works of darkness. As ### rose from what men thought his deathbed to declare the works of the Lord and expose wickedness, so believe that the schemes of an unsaved mother-in-law and sister-in-law shall be brought to light, and that their own souls might yet be plucked from the pit.

Pray also for the cleansing of your home, every room, every corner, that no dark thing may lodge there. But know this: deliverance from the power of sin is as much God’s work as deliverance from its guilt. Look to Jesus for both. Be more earnest for heavenly silver and gold than for a swift escape from the conflict, for the tried saint learns that salvation is all of free grace. He can do nothing, and he knows it. Yet do not fold your arms. Shoot the arrow; pour out the entreaties; declare the works of the Lord. He will save your marriage, protect your family, and turn this present sorrow into a song of deliverance. The clock of mercy will strike; the hour is appointed.
