We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for His faithfulness, lifting up this urgent request for your ### and ### as they seek wisdom and favor in securing funds and a lender for investment properties. It is good that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). We stand on this truth as we bring this matter before the throne of grace.
The pursuit of financial stability and wise stewardship is commendable, especially when done with a heart that seeks to honor God. The Bible encourages us to plan diligently and trust in the Lord’s provision, as Proverbs 16:3 reminds us: *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* However, we must also remember the warning in Matthew 6:19-21: *"Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."* While planning for retirement is wise, let us ensure that our hearts remain fixed on eternal treasures and that our trust is fully in the Lord, not in wealth or investments.
We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:33: *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* As your family seeks financial favor, we pray that this pursuit would be rooted in a desire to glorify God and advance His kingdom. May the Lord grant discernment to avoid any dealings that could lead to greed, dishonesty, or an unhealthy attachment to material security. Let us also remember that *"the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil"* (1 Timothy 6:10, WEB), and we must guard our hearts against this temptation.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your favor and wisdom for this family. Lord, You are the owner of all things, and every good and perfect gift comes from Your hand. We ask that You open doors that no man can shut, guiding your servants to the right lenders and financial opportunities that align with Your will. Give them favor in the eyes of those who can help, and let Your divine wisdom lead every decision they make.
Father, we rebuked any spirit of fear, anxiety, or desperation that may be creeping into their hearts. Replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and remind them that You are their Provider. If there has been any misplacement of trust—whether in wealth, human effort, or worldly systems—we ask for conviction and realignment with Your truth. Let their pursuit of these investments be marked by integrity, generosity, and a heart that seeks to honor You above all else.
Lord, we also pray that this family would not grow weary in doing good. Remind them that their ultimate security is found in You, not in properties or retirement accounts. May their lives reflect the truth of Proverbs 3:5-6: *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, who is our Provider, our Peace, and our Ultimate Treasure. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in this situation. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s face in this matter. Spend time in His Word, asking for His guidance and surrendering your plans to Him. Remember that *"unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB). Trust that He is working all things together for your good, even in the waiting. Stay faithful, remain prayerful, and walk in obedience to His Word. He will never fail you.
