Upset stomach indigestion, puffiness on the face.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of physical discomfort, upset stomach, indigestion, and puffiness on the face. Father, Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits our bodies together and sustains every breath we take.

Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to restore balance and health. Calm the storm within this body, soothe the inflammation, and bring relief from the discomfort. In Jeremiah 30:17, You promise, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." We claim this truth over this situation, trusting that You see the pain and are already at work.

We also recognize that physical ailments can sometimes be tied to deeper spiritual or emotional burdens. If there is unforgiveness, stress, or unconfessed sin weighing on the heart, we pray for conviction and repentance. James 5:16 reminds us, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." Lord, reveal any areas that need Your cleansing and restoration, that this body may be made whole in every way.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or attack from the enemy that may be seeking to steal, kill, or destroy health. In the name of Jesus, we declare that this body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we command every cell to align with Your perfect design. We speak life, healing, and wholeness over every organ, tissue, and system, trusting in Your power to restore.

We pray for wisdom in seeking medical care if needed, and for discernment in making choices that honor the body You’ve given. Proverbs 3:7-8 says, "Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones." Guide every step toward full recovery.

Above all, we surrender this situation into Your hands, knowing that Your ways are higher than ours. Whether healing comes instantly or through a process, we trust in Your goodness and love. May this trial draw closer to You, deepening faith and dependence on Your unfailing grace.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We’re so sorry you’re dealing with an upset stomach, indigestion, and puffiness. That kind of discomfort can be draining in a quiet, persistent way, it sits with you throughout the day and makes rest hard to find. We’re standing with you in prayer for complete healing, and we know God cares about every ache.

Alongside our prayers, it may be wise to have a doctor take a look, especially if these symptoms hang around or get worse. We’re not raising any alarm, but a check-up can sometimes bring clarity and peace of mind. Seeking medical help isn’t a sign of weak faith; it’s just good stewardship of the body God gave you.

When our bodies feel off, it’s easy to get stuck in worry or frustration. In those moments, we try to remember that healing belongs to God, not to our ability to pray hard enough or get everything right. We can simply rest in His presence, even while we wait for relief. He is with you right now in the discomfort, not just in the resolution.

So we pray together: Jesus, we ask You to calm this stomach, settle the digestion, and ease the puffiness. Bring complete healing according to Your will, and in the meantime, give steady peace and patience. Guide any next steps, and let this person feel Your nearness in tangible ways. In Your name we pray, amen.

It is no small mercy that you feel your bodily weakness, for it brings you to seek the Lord's power. The Great Physician still walks among the candlesticks of His churches, and when we bring our infirmities to His throne, we find the same healing leaves that grow on either side of the river. Your upset stomach, indigestion, and the puffiness of your face are not hidden from Him. He who made the frame knows its every ache, and He who bore our sicknesses is not indifferent to your present distress.

Yet consider how often the body's ailments serve to remind us of deeper needs. The Gospel's power is mainly a power to heal, and Christ delights to restore us. But the first stroke of His mercy often falls upon the soul. "Man, your sins are forgiven you", that word brought peace before the palsy departed. So lift your heart beyond the physical. Pray with the leper, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean," and trust that His will is ever for your good. The power of the Lord is present to heal, and He who hears the cry of the afflicted will not turn you away empty.

Take this trial as a call to examine how you are hearing the Word. Are you receiving the Gospel as a draught of pure water, or have you let lesser concerns dilute its strength? Let this stomach be the gate through which you learn again to feed on Christ, the true Bread. Cast your care wholly upon Him, for He has promised, "They shall be as though I had not cast them aside." Prayer is the sure forerunner of mercy. Cry to Him who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds, and He will grant you both restoration of body and refreshment of spirit. May the beloved Physician touch you with His sovereign hand, and raise you up from this bed of discomfort to serve Him with renewed vigor.

How many are there who suffer from the stomach and from various infirmities, yet do not perceive the hidden benefit! I cannot simply pray for the removal of your indigestion and facial swelling without reminding you of the Apostle Timothy. He was a man of great virtue, yet Paul did not command the stomach to be healed by a miracle. Instead he wrote, “Use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake and thine often infirmities.” Why? Because even the vessel of election, Paul himself, was given a thorn in the flesh lest he be exalted beyond measure. If such men were left to endure bodily ailments, how much more should we accept these visitations with humility.

This puffiness and upset are not merely to be endured but to be understood. They work to humble the soul, to curb pride, to teach us that we are made of clay. Do you seek complete healing? Then first seek the more complete health of the spirit. Employ the remedies of medicine with moderation, for Paul did not forbid care of the body, but he would not have you become a slave to luxury. A little wine for the stomach, a simple treatment for the swelling, these are permitted. But even more, receive this affliction as a dissimulation of God’s love, a feigned severity meant to correct and to save.

Do not be offended, as many are when they see the righteous suffer. The stomach’s disorder is not a sign of divine neglect but a profitable visitation. As I have often said, sometimes ten remedies seem to have no effect, yet afterward one blow brings the tree down. The fruit of patience will come forth, I am fully persuaded. So let your prayer be not for the mere lifting of the pain but for strength to bear it and learn from it. Then, whether you are healed swiftly or slowly, you will have laid hold on eternal life, where the body knows no infirmity.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
