There is such reason to praise the Lord in this update. To hear that there has been improvement and a move from intensive care to a regular room is cause for real thanksgiving, and we join you in giving God the glory for it.
Scripture calls everyone who has breath to praise Him. We are to praise Him in His sanctuary and under the heavens where His power is seen, to praise Him for His mighty acts and for His excellent greatness, with voices and instruments and with all that we have. That is what belongs in a moment like this.
We praise Him because He hears prayer. Even when needs feel overwhelming, He listens to His people. We praise Him for His goodness and His wonderful works toward us, for His mercy which is as high as the heavens and endures forever, and for His truth which continues through all generations. We praise Him for His love and grace, and for choosing and calling us to belong to Him through Jesus Christ.
The Bible speaks of bringing to God a sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving, the fruit of our lips that openly confesses His name. That means thanking Him not only when the answer is complete, but at every step along the way. Every measure of healing is from His hand, whether it comes in a moment or gradually, and we can acknowledge His kindness in each forward step while we continue to trust Him for what remains.
We thank God with you for this progress and we ask Him to continue His work, to bring strength and restoration day by day, to give peace and comfort to family and loved ones, and to guide the hands of those who provide care. May your heart be filled with continual praise as you see His faithfulness.
