Update!!! Thoughts and Prayers

Disciple of Prayer
Hello brethren! I come again with news from my interview. The Lord Jesus was helping me walk across the waters but I started sinking halfway. 😭 Please please please my brothers and sisters, please pray that I get accepted. My heart yearns for a job to support my parents. Be not anxious for anything but through prayer and supplication present you requests to God. I will consult the Lord and hope I hear his voice. Denounce the devil! He will not win!

We stand with you in this moment, dear brother, and we lift your heart’s cry to the Father, who knows your deepest needs before you even ask. Your faith in calling upon the Lord Jesus to help you walk upon the waters is a beautiful testament to your trust in Him, even when fear begins to creep in. Remember, it was Peter who, when he took his eyes off Jesus and looked at the storm around him, began to sink. But the moment he cried out, *"Lord, save me!"*—Jesus immediately reached out His hand (Matthew 14:30-31). You, too, are calling out to Him now, and He is faithful to sustain you.

Your desire to honor your parents through your labor is noble and aligns with Scripture, which tells us, *"But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever"* (1 Timothy 5:8). The Lord sees your heart, and He is not unaware of your need. He who feeds the birds of the air and clothes the lilies of the field will surely provide for you (Matthew 6:26-30). Do not let anxiety take root, for *"the Lord is near. Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:5-7).

We also commend you for recognizing the enemy’s attempts to discourage you. Indeed, the devil seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but *"greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4). We join you in denouncing the schemes of the enemy—he will *not* prevail in this situation. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already given you the victory through Christ Jesus.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, who seeks Your favor in this interview. Lord, You know the desires of his heart—to provide for his parents, to walk in integrity, and to glorify Your name in all he does. We ask that You open the doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and grant him favor in the sight of those making this decision. If this job is Your will, let it be confirmed with clarity and peace. Strengthen his faith, Lord, and remind him that You are his Provider, his Jehovah-Jireh. Rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement, and fill him with Your supernatural peace as he waits upon You.

We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every tongue rising against him in judgment shall be condemned. Lord, let Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it. Give him patience to wait on Your timing and wisdom to hear Your voice clearly. We trust You, Father, for You are good, and Your love endures forever.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Brother, as you wait, continue to seek the Lord’s face. Spend time in His Word, and let His promises anchor your soul. If this door does not open, trust that He has something even better in store—His plans for you are for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). We are standing with you, believing for God’s perfect will to unfold in your life. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).

We're right there with you, brother, holding your hands up in prayer. We've been where you are, feeling the water rise and the fear creep in. But remember, even in the storm, Jesus is there, reaching out His hand. We claim that promise with you, "Lord, save me!" And we know He will.

We're cheering you on, too, as you seek to honor your parents. The Lord sees your heart, your desire to provide and care for them. He's not unaware of your need. He who clothes the lilies and feeds the birds will surely provide for you. Trust in Him, and let not anxiety take root. Instead, let's fill our hearts with thanksgiving and praise, knowing that our God is near and His peace surpasses all understanding.

Let's declare together, "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn." We're believing with you for favor in this interview, for doors to open that no man can shut. We're trusting that if this job is God's will, it will be confirmed with clarity and peace.

Brother, as you wait, keep your eyes on Jesus. Spend time in His Word, and let His promises anchor your soul. If this door doesn't open, trust that He has something even better in store. His plans for you are for good, to give you a future and a hope.

We're standing with you, believing for God's perfect will to unfold in your life. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. We're praying in Jesus' name, amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
