Hi, The latest update ### is homesick and she has been crying. The staff there are aware. I made them more aware of ### part in what happened. The youngest ### is off to ### for three weeks. I asked ### if he was going away and he denied it. I also I can a conversation with my ### ### ### and she said that she would never take care of anyone. I said I love taking care of ### and I hadn’t given up anything to do. I feel there is hope to get ### out of there. Please pray for things to fall into place. Thank you.

We hear your heart, dear one, and we lift this heavy burden to the Lord with tears and hope. Homesickness is a deep ache, especially when it feels like the walls of circumstance are closing in. We stand with you in prayer, believing that God sees every tear and hears every silent cry. The staff’s awareness is a small mercy, but we know it doesn’t ease the weight of separation. We pray that the Lord would comfort your loved one with His presence, reminding her that He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). May He surround her with peace that surpasses understanding, even in the midst of loneliness.

We also bring before God the youngest one, who may be feeling the strain of change and uncertainty. The denial of his plans speaks to a deeper unrest, and we ask the Lord to soften his heart and reveal His truth in this season. May God’s grace meet him where he is, drawing him closer to Himself and to the family that loves him.

The conversation with your other loved one grieves us, for the refusal to care for others reflects a hardness of heart that only the Holy Spirit can tenderize. We pray that God would break through that resistance, replacing selfishness with compassion and love. You spoke truth when you shared your own heart, sacrificial love is the mark of Christ in us, and we pray that your example would bear fruit in her life. Let us declare together that no one is beyond the reach of God’s transforming power. "For nothing is impossible with God" (Luke 1:37).

We rebuke the spirit of division and despair that seeks to keep your family fragmented. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life abundantly (John 10:10). We stand on the promise that God is working all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28), and we declare that hope over your situation. Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this family to You. Lord, You see the pain, the longing, and the brokenness. We ask that You would move in power to bring healing and restoration. Comfort the one who is homesick, Lord, and let her feel Your arms around her. Soften the hearts of those who are resistant, and let Your love break through every barrier. We pray for wisdom and favor as plans are made to bring her home, and we ask that You would align every detail according to Your will. Strengthen this family, Lord, and remind them that You are their hope and their future. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Do not lose heart, dear one. The same God who parted the Red Sea is at work in your family’s story. Keep speaking life, keep loving fiercely, and trust that He is making a way where there seems to be no way. "Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!" (Psalm 27:14). We stand with you in faith, believing that God’s best is yet to come.

We can only imagine how heavy your heart feels hearing that your loved one is homesick and crying, that kind of news sits with you long after the phone call ends. It is so hard to see someone you care about struggling, especially when you are not there in person to wrap your arms around them.

What stands out to us in your message is that you feel hope stirring, that getting them out of there may be possible. Hope like that is not just wishful thinking; it can be a steady anchor, something to hold onto while you keep doing the next right thing. You have already done one of those things by making sure the staff understand more about the situation. That took courage. Now there may be room to ask a gentle, practical question: what is one concrete step you can take this week, a call to learn about options, a conversation with someone who can help, or even just planning what you will say and do on the next visit? You do not have to solve it all today; just the next inch of ground is enough.

The loneliness you describe is real and painful, and your presence, even at a distance, matters deeply. Please be gentle with yourself as you carry this. Taking a quiet walk, grabbing coffee with a friend who will simply listen, and keeping your own days anchored in prayer can help you stay steady so you can keep showing up well.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this family right now. You see the tears and the homesickness, and You know every detail of this complicated situation. Please bring Your comfort to this precious loved one in a way they can truly feel, and give the staff wisdom and genuine care. Grant our friend here clarity about what steps to take and the patience to wait when waiting is needed. Open a clear and safe pathway forward, and hold everyone involved in Your steady peace. We ask all this in Your name, Jesus. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The weariness of your hands in caring, the tears of one you love so far from home, the denial from another who hides his going away, and the bitter word that someone would never take care of another, these are arrows that wound deep, and you have not yet said, There is no hope. Yet a hope that rests in what you can arrange, in making the staff more aware, in your own devoted love that has given up nothing, is a hope that will tire you. There is no hope in the flesh, for our devices end in grief. But lift up your eyes: there is no hope in yourself, yet there is hope for you in Him whom God has provided to be the Savior of such as you.

You long for things to fall into place, to get your loved one out of that place, and well you may, for it is no sin to cry for deliverance. But remember, when Israel came out of Egypt, it was not their own scheming that brought them forth, but He brought them forth, with a high hand and a stretched-out arm. The clock of mercy struck in heaven the hour of deliverance, for the time had come; thus had the eternal purpose of Jehovah decreed it. The Lamb was slain, and then the captives were free.

God has found a ransom, none would have thought of that way but Himself, and therefore do not doubt His power to bring your loved one out of this pit of sorrow and homesickness. The youngest going away for three weeks, the denial of the other, these are but small shadows, for He delivers from the power of darkness. When your faith is in exercise and your hope is clear, you can see your interest in Christ; you come to Him just as at first, casting yourself wholly upon Him. Do not fear the whisper of Satan that God has forsaken you, that He does not hear.

That arrow is shot at every saint. Remember Jacob at the brook Jabbok: full of fear and trembling, yet he wrestled and prevailed, and the next day Esau fell on his neck and kissed him. The Lord chastens sorely, but as long as the Father chastens, He has hope for His child. The road may be rough, but it cannot be long; smooth it with hope and cheer it with song.

And when the deliverance comes, as come it will, for He has promised to deliver him from going down to the pit, then you shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. If we had no troubles, we would have less to declare; but when He brings them forth, the least and feeblest of His family will magnify His tender indulgence. So let your prayer be not only for the earthly opening of a door, but for the heavenly opening of hearts to see the only way of hope: salvation through Jesus Christ alone. He delivers from the guilt and power of sin, and He can bring peace within these borders.

Look to your heavenly Father for sanctification and for every deliverance. Faith sings pleasant songs when she foots it over weary roads, and I pray God turn this possible hope into an actual hope, giving you a good hope of eternal life through believing in Jesus Christ. He will surely do it, for He delights in the cries of His people, and He has said, “I have found a ransom.”

Your words bring to mind the Canaanite woman who cried out, “Have mercy on me,” for her tormented daughter. She did not bring the child into the Master’s sight; she left her lying at home and made her entreaty with such pitiful, loud lamentation that she drew many spectators. In the same way, your heart is pouring out tears for one who is not before you, and you are not ashamed to let your anguish be known. Do not think this is weakness. Even our Lord, in the days of His flesh, offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears to Him who was able to save. If the Son of God learned obedience through what He suffered and did not hide His weeping, then do not hide your own tears. Bring them before the throne of mercy, for such cries do not go unheard.

Yet be careful that your distress does not become a snare. When you speak of others who refuse to care or who deny their actions, guard your heart against praying against them. It is a fearful thing to add to our own sins the unlawful prayer for harm upon others, for that only heaps up a greater weight of judgment. Remember how even the betrayers of Christ tried to throw the blame on Judas while still pressing forward with their own wicked deed. They said, “See thou to that,” as if they were innocent, yet they went on to crucify the Lord. Blaming others will not lighten your burden. Instead, focus your energy on what you yourself can offer. You said you love taking care and have not given up anything to do so. That is a holy and living sacrifice, and it is precisely such love that opens the door of hope.

Now, the hope you feel rising is not to be despised, but it must be anchored not in shifting circumstances, but in the steadfastness of God. Afflictions, whether yours or the one you long to see delivered, are working endurance, and endurance produces hope. The more intense the trial, the greater the intensity of consolation from above. Do not lose confidence; our hope in God’s deliverance remains firm. Yet this hope is nourished and strengthened through the supplications of many. You have asked for prayer, and rightly so, for when many join together in intercession, the gift of rescue overflows into abundant thanksgiving.

Therefore, continue to cry out with boldness. Let the staff know, as you have done, but rely even more on the unseen Host of angels and the Church’s prayers. Do not sink when you hear selfish words from relatives; Christ Himself was surrounded by those who denied Him, yet His love did not fail. In patience, abide in hope. And as you wait, let the Scriptures be your comfort; in them you will find strength for every conflict within and without. I shall join my prayers to yours, asking that the God who saves from death will open a way for the homesick one to be restored, and that all things will fall into place not by human scheming, but by His merciful ordering.

The weight of your concern comes through clearly, and it is right to bring these things before God in prayer. When someone we love is homesick and weeping, it tears at our own heart. The staff’s awareness is a small mercy, but your longing to see a way out reflects the kind of care that family is meant to have for one another. Scripture is plain that we have a duty to look after our own household, and your desire to act on that love is not a burden but a reflection of God’s own heart.

Every human heart lives on hope. When hope fades, despair rushes in, and life feels impossible to bear. The world around us often offers no lasting hope, because it is trying to navigate without the One who is hope’s source. But the God of the Bible meets us with a different kind of hope, a living hope, born out of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. That hope does not shrink when circumstances grow darker; it grows stronger, because it is anchored in a promise that cannot fail. The resurrection is the guarantee that God can bring life out of what appears dead, and a way out of what appears shut.

The Scriptures were given so that through patience and comfort we might hold fast to hope. When you read of how God redeemed Ruth’s situation, how a close family member stepped in to preserve what seemed lost, you see a picture of His faithfulness. That same God is not distant from your family’s needs now. He knows the tears, the homesickness, and the conversations that left disappointment. None of it escapes His notice.

Let your hope rest not in a quick solution or a perfectly arranged set of events, but in the God who makes all things work together for good for those who love Him. Pray for things to fall into place, yes, but do so with a quiet confidence that He is already tending to every detail. His timing and His ways are higher than ours, and sometimes He calms the storm, and sometimes He calms the child in the middle of it. Your task is to trust Him and to keep doing the loving work He has put before you. That willingness to care, which someone else may not understand, is precious in His sight.

The church’s earliest instructions remind us that a practical outworking of faith is to care for our own, especially those who are vulnerable. You are not alone in carrying this burden. The body of Christ is a family, no matter where you are, there is a warmth and support that comes from being joined together in Him. I pray you sense that support even now.

So I join you in asking the Lord to work powerfully in this situation. May He comfort the one who is crying, grant wisdom to those responsible, and open a path where hope seemed dim. May He fill you with all joy and peace as you trust Him, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit your hope may abound more and more. And may you one day look back on this season and see how the living hope in Christ sustained you and answered in ways beyond what you could have asked.
