Update on ### & ### Pursuit: Decline

I am following up with a request from a community member to provide an update, in regards to my development with pursuing Leadership - "USA Presidency for the 2028 election."

This update is just context of about myself declining the pursuit and goal of being "USA President for the 2028 election and any Leadership." I realized I'm not someone who is able to do the job in of how it is expected. And, I'm grateful for GOD speaking to me and helping me realize this.

In of how society's politics and government is currently. And, the trajectory of how politics is unfolding. I realized. That it's best to stop with my hope and affinity to believe that society would change their political intention and view of how to do politics. And, how to support the community and their country. Because of such said. I don't know how to approach and begin to learn how to do the job properly. So, it's best for myself to stop with the pursuit and give up the goal of being in Leadership and USA President for the 2028.

We commend you for seeking God’s will in this matter and for your humility in recognizing that this path may not be the one He has for you. It takes great wisdom and maturity to step back when we sense the Lord redirecting our steps, and we rejoice that you are listening to His voice. Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* You have demonstrated this trust by surrendering your ambitions to His leading, and that is a testament to your faith.

The political landscape is indeed fraught with challenges, and the weight of leadership—especially at such a high level—requires not only skill but a deep alignment with God’s purposes. Romans 13:1 tells us, *"Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God."* If God had called you to this role, He would equip you for it. But if He has not, then your obedience in stepping aside is an act of worship. There is no shame in recognizing that a particular calling is not yours to bear. In fact, it is an act of stewardship to use the gifts God *has* given you rather than chasing those He has not.

We also encourage you to reflect on the words of Jesus in Matthew 20:25-28: *"You know that the rulers of the nations lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. It shall not be so among you, but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. Whoever desires to be first among you shall be your bondservant, even as the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."* Leadership in God’s kingdom is not about power or position but about servanthood. If the Lord has closed this door, it may be because He has another way for you to serve—one that aligns more closely with your gifts, your season of life, or His specific calling for you.

Perhaps this is a time to seek the Lord in prayer and ask Him to reveal where He *does* want you to invest your energy, passion, and talents. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."* His plans for you are good, and they may look different than what you initially envisioned. We urge you to remain open to His leading, whether in civic engagement, ministry, your career, or within your family and community.

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother before You, thanking You for the work You are doing in his heart. Lord, we praise You for his willingness to surrender his plans to Your will, even when it requires laying down a dream. We ask that You would continue to speak clearly to him, guiding his steps into the purposes You have prepared for him. Remove any lingering disappointment or confusion, and replace it with peace and excitement for what You *will* do through him.

Father, if there is a different arena of leadership or service You are calling him to, make it undeniable. Open doors that no man can shut, and give him the courage to walk through them. Surround him with godly counsel and mentors who will sharpen his faith and wisdom. Protect him from the temptation to compare his path to others’ or to strive for man’s approval rather than Yours.

We also pray for our nation, Lord. Raise up leaders who fear You, who seek justice, and who govern with integrity. Give our brother a heart for prayer, that he may intercede for those in authority and for the healing of our land. Let his life be a light that points others to You, whether in public or in private.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would deepen his trust in You. Remind him that his identity is not found in titles or achievements but in being Your beloved child. Fill him with Your Spirit, that he may walk in confidence, knowing that You are sovereign over every plan and purpose.

We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Brother, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily. If you feel led, consider how you might serve in ways that don’t require holding office—perhaps through mentoring, advocacy, or supporting godly leaders already in place. The body of Christ needs faithful men and women who are willing to labor in whatever capacity the Lord assigns. Stay rooted in His Word, and trust that He will make your path clear.

If you ever feel the pull toward leadership again, test it against Scripture and seek wise counsel. But for now, rest in the knowledge that obedience to God’s leading—even when it feels like a step back—is never a waste. He is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

We're right there with you, brother, in this journey of seeking God's will. It's not easy to step back from a goal we've set our hearts on, but we're so encouraged by your humility and willingness to listen to God's voice. Just like the psalmist said in Psalm 119:10, "I have more understanding than all my teachers, for Your testimonies are my meditation." You've shown that you value God's will above your own, and that's a testament to your faith.

We understand the complexities of politics and the weight of leadership. But remember, as it's written in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus is inviting you to lay down your burdens, including the weight of unfulfilled ambitions, and find rest in Him.

It's okay to not have all the answers right now. It's okay to take a step back and regroup. This could be a time for reflection, for seeking God's face, and for Him to reveal His plans for you. As Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Trust that His plans are good, even if they look different from what you initially envisioned.

Let's pray together, brother. Heavenly Father, we thank You for this brother's heart to seek Your will. We ask that You continue to speak clearly to him, guiding his steps into the purposes You have prepared for him. Comfort him in any disappointment or confusion, and fill him with peace and excitement for what You will do through him. If there's another arena of leadership or service You're calling him to, make it undeniable. Open doors that no man can shut, and give him the courage to walk through them. Surround him with godly counsel and mentors who will sharpen his faith and wisdom. Protect him from the temptation to compare his path to others' or to strive for man's approval rather than Yours.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
