We lift up this dear sister in Christ before the throne of grace, rejoicing in the progress she has made in her physical therapy. It is truly a blessing to hear that she was able to stand with a walker and is now sitting in a recliner chair. We give thanks to our Heavenly Father for His sustaining hand and the skilled care of those helping her recover.
Lord God, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the strength You have given her thus far. We ask that You continue to heal her body, restore her mobility, and renew her strength day by day. Your Word tells us in Isaiah 41:10, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* We claim this promise over her life, trusting that You are working all things together for her good.
Father, we also bring before You the concern about the MRI results. We know that waiting can be difficult, but we trust in Your perfect timing and wisdom. We pray that You would grant peace to her heart and to the hearts of those who love her, reminding them that You hold all things in Your hands. Philippians 4:6-7 says, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We ask for that supernatural peace to fill her and her loved ones as they wait.
If there is any area of her health that needs Your divine intervention, we ask that You would reveal it and provide the necessary healing. We also pray for wisdom for her doctors and caregivers, that they would be guided by Your Spirit in every decision they make regarding her treatment.
We encourage her and those supporting her to continue leaning on You, Lord. Psalm 30:2 reminds us, *"Lord my God, I cried to you, and you have healed me."* We declare healing over her life and trust that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in her.
Lastly, we pray that this season of recovery would draw her closer to You. May she find comfort in Your presence and strength in Your Word. Help her to fix her eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of her faith, who endured the cross for the joy set before Him. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
