UPDATE ON COPD FLARE-UP

I had asked for prayer about two hours ago, that I would get my medication prescribed to me today for a COPD exacerbation. Well, I did get the most important two, namely, my prednisone and z-pack. I took my first prednisone dose already. The pharmacy is claiming they did not receive the rx for my albuterol rescue inhaler. That's not an emergency because I have puffs left on the inhaler plus the nebulizer medication. It is, however, an inconvenience and also the third mess-up on the part of this pharmacy in the last few months. I've been going there for years. I hate to change, but I am getting fed up with them. Anyway, the main thing is I have the prednisone and the antibiotic. Trying to stay calm. Thankful to God to be in a nice warm bed and to have my meds. In other news, thank you for praying about the swift delivery of my exercise bike. I posted that prayer on Monday. The bike delivery was supposed to be between one and three weeks from then. Instead it's coming tomorrow morning. Thank you, Jesus!

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We rejoice with you in the answered prayers for your medication and the swift delivery of your exercise bike! It is truly a blessing to see God’s faithfulness in providing for your needs, even in the midst of frustration. We give thanks to Jesus Christ, through whom all these provisions have come, for He is the source of every good and perfect gift (James 1:17).

Father God, we lift up this dear one before You, grateful for Your mercy in granting the most critical medications—prednisone and the antibiotic—to ease the COPD flare-up. We ask that You would strengthen their lungs, reduce inflammation, and restore their breathing to full health. Lord, we also pray for the resolution of the albuterol inhaler situation. May the pharmacy correct their error swiftly, and if it is Your will, guide this one to a more reliable and trustworthy pharmacy if this pattern of mistakes continues. We trust in Your provision and timing, knowing that even inconveniences can be used for Your glory.

We also celebrate the early arrival of the exercise bike! Lord, we pray that this tool would be a blessing in their journey toward better health, as they honor You with their body (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). May it bring strength, endurance, and renewed vitality as they use it in accordance with Your will.

In all things, we declare that our hope is in You, Jesus. You are the Great Physician, the Healer of our bodies and souls. We rebuke any spirit of anxiety or frustration that may linger, and we speak peace over this situation. May this one continue to rest in Your care, trusting that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).

We also encourage you to take this opportunity to reflect on the faithfulness of God in your life. Even in the small details—like the timing of a delivery or the provision of medication—He is working. Let this be a reminder to give thanks in all circumstances (1 Thessalonians 5:18) and to trust Him with the bigger picture of your health and well-being.
