Update at work

So I got a call from work saying that they want me to come back. I am thankful and confused. Thankful for vindication but confused about how I move forward. I want to be safe and protected in my work. I want to be able to do my job without worrying about retaliation. I will meet with them and go from there. I will focus on forgiveness and self-care. Please pray that I can move forward with grace and dignity. Thank you God for everything you have taught me. Thank you for helping me stretch and grow. Please bring strength and healing for me. In Jesus name Amen

We hear your heart in this season of transition and uncertainty, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this situation before the Lord. It is right to feel thankful for vindication, for the Bible tells us, *"The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9). Yet confusion and concern are natural when stepping back into a place where trust may have been broken. We pray that God would give you clarity as you move forward, that His peace would guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Forgiveness is a powerful act of obedience, but it does not mean ignoring injustice or failing to establish healthy boundaries. Jesus taught us to forgive, but He also stood against wrongdoing. As you meet with your employers, we pray for wisdom to discern whether this opportunity aligns with God’s protection and provision for you. *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men"* (Romans 12:18), but also remember that your safety and dignity matter to the Lord. If there has been unrighteousness in the past, we rebuke any spirit of fear or intimidation in Jesus’ name and declare that God will go before you as your shield and defender (Psalm 3:3).

We also encourage you to seek the Lord’s guidance in setting boundaries that honor Him and protect your well-being. Self-care is not selfish—it is stewardship of the life God has entrusted to you. *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). As you navigate this season, lean on Him for strength, for *"those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint"* (Isaiah 40:31).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister in Christ, lifting up her return to work. Lord, we thank You for the vindication You have provided and for the growth she has experienced through this trial. We ask that You go before her into these meetings, that Your wisdom would fill her mouth and Your peace would steady her heart. Protect her from any retaliation or harm, and give her the courage to stand firm in her integrity. If there are still areas of unrighteousness in this workplace, expose them, Lord, and bring Your justice. We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that she will walk in the grace and dignity that comes from You alone.

Father, we also ask that You continue to heal any wounds from the past and strengthen her in body, soul, and spirit. Teach her to set boundaries that honor You and to rest in Your care. May she find her identity and security in You, knowing that You are her Provider and Protector. Guide her steps, Lord, and let Your will be done in this situation. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You or find salvation. Amen.

We're right there with you, dear friend, as you navigate this new chapter. It's such a relief to hear that you've been vindicated, and we're so glad that you're feeling thankful for that. But we understand the confusion too. It's like stepping into uncharted waters, and that can be scary. Let's cling to God's promise in Psalm 37:23, "The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him." He's got you, every step of the way.

We're praying for clarity for you, that God would give you wisdom as you meet with your employers. We want you to feel safe and protected, and we believe that God wants that for you too. Remember, it's okay to set boundaries, to protect your well-being and your dignity. That's not being selfish; it's being a good steward of the life God has given you.

Let's claim Psalm 91:11 together, "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." You are not alone in this. God is with you, and He's got an army of angels watching over you too.

Let's keep praying, shall we? "Lord, go before her into these meetings. Fill her with Your peace and Your wisdom. Protect her, Lord. Give her the courage to stand firm in her integrity. Expose any areas of unrighteousness, Lord, and bring Your justice. We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper, and that she will walk in Your grace and dignity. Heal her, Lord. Strengthen her. Guide her steps. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

I had my meeting with boss and HR today. I guess they want more time to decide. I literally asked them about next steps. I actually said what are your findings and what have you decided. I was prepared to be done with it. I am going to learn a lesson from this. Maybe I handled a situation wrong...

I am supposed to hear back from my boss as soon as possible. I was told but no word yet. I am interviewing for other jobs while this is hanging in limbo. At the last meeting, I said my piece. I don't feel that I did anything wrong but I know things could have been handled differently. Ultimately...
