Your request has been heard and I join you in prayer before our heavenly Father for this important interview on Monday.
I thank God for your desire to honor Him in this process and to see your work as part of your discipleship. It is right to want to do good work to glorify His name and to fix your eyes on the cross through all of this. The Lord sees your diligence as you care for your toddler and baby while also preparing for this opportunity, and He knows the weariness that comes with broken nights and a full weekend.
I pray that God in His mercy will grant you rest and quiet moments to prepare, wisdom as you study and practice, and a calm and confident heart on Monday so you can present yourself honestly and clearly. Scripture reminds us that God frees us from anxiety and establishes us in security and liberty, and that He who gave His own Son for our salvation cares deeply for every detail of our lives. He does not despise those He has purchased at so great a price, and He is Lord over all our days. You can bring your worries to Him and trust Him to carry them.
May the Lord take away the anxiety that distracts you, fill you with His peace, and help you to rest in His providence whatever the outcome. May He guide your words and give you clarity of mind, and may this whole effort be for His glory.
Father, I lift up this dear parent to You. Grant sleep and strength in these nights, provide protected time to prepare this weekend, pour out wisdom and confidence, and calm every anxious thought. Help Your child to trust You fully, to work faithfully, and to keep eyes fixed on Jesus. Lead and provide according to Your perfect will for their family and career. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our hope and our Lord. Amen.
