Unwanted divorce

My wife wanted a divorce from me because of a strong verbal disagreement we had on ###. Because she would not return home and my attorney advised me to sign the divorce papers because it was apparent that she had no plans to return home and to our marriage, I did sign and the divorce was final last Thursday. The problem is that I`ve never stopped loving her and regret signing the papers. I pray to the Lord that he changes her mind and heart and has a desire to return. We did have a great marriage and relationship before the disagreement. Please pray with me that the Lord will intervene and reconcile the relationship between ### and me. Thank you.

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen
