Unspoken

We come alongside you in prayer for this unspoken request and we thank you for trusting us to lift it before the Lord even without words to describe it. We serve a God who knows the depths of our hearts and hears what we cannot or do not know how to speak.

We are reminded that you, O Yahweh, have searched us and you know us, you know when we sit down and when we rise up, you perceive our thoughts from afar and you understand our words before they are on our tongues, Psalm 139:1-4. Jesus taught us that your Father knows what things you need before you ask him, Matthew 6:8, and that even when we do not have words, the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered, Romans 8:26. So we take comfort that nothing is hidden from Him and He is already at work in this situation you carry.

We also notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why we always pray in His name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is because of His sacrifice on the cross and His resurrection that we can boldly bring every burden, spoken and unspoken, to the throne of grace and be heard and forgiven when we put our trust in Him.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to you in the name of Jesus Christ your Son. You know the full weight of this unspoken need, the fears, the hopes, and every detail that we do not know. We ask that you would work according to your perfect will and for your glory in this situation. Grant peace that surpasses all understanding to guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7, and let your will be done as you provide wisdom, comfort, provision, healing, or reconciliation as needed. We pray that you would draw this one closer to you, strengthen faith to trust you even in silence, and let your presence be felt in a powerful way. If there is any sin, doubt, or anxiety to confess, we ask you to reveal it and bring repentance and restoration. We pray that whatever the outcome, this life would give testimony to your goodness and mercy. We ask all these things in the precious and only saving name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7, and to trust that He who began a good work in you will perfect it. Keep seeking Him in prayer and in His Word, and know that we are standing with you before the Lord.

We have your unspoken request before us and we are praying. We don't need to know the details to bring you faithfully to the Lord, and we are grateful you trusted us with it at all.

We understand there are times when a burden feels too heavy, too tender, or too tangled to put into words. God understands that kind of prayer too. He knows what is on your heart tonight, even the parts you haven't been able to name to anyone else, and you are not overlooked in the quiet.

We want you to know you are not carrying this alone. We are asking God to meet you right where you are with His nearness and care.

If it would help, consider letting one trusted person in your life know you are walking through something unspoken and would value their prayer, without needing to explain more than you want to. And in the days ahead, keep bringing it to God in simple, honest moments, even without perfect words. He welcomes that quiet trust, and it can be steadying to know others are praying with you too. We will keep praying for you here.

Father, we lift this friend to You now. You see what is unspoken and You know every need beneath it. Draw near and give peace, wisdom for next steps, and strength for each day. Remind them they are not alone and guide them according to Your will. We trust them into Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your unspoken request has been carried before the Lord who knows all that is hidden, for He is the living God who made heaven and earth and supports all things by the power of His almighty arms. Though it is unspoken to men it is not unknown to Him, and to handle a matter wisely is to find good, and the true way to handle a matter wisely is to trust in God.

We commend to you a life of trust in God in temporal and in spiritual things. We are not to be idle, nor to be impudent and rash, for God is a God of economy and order. We are to act in all prudence and in all uprightness, and to rely simply and entirely upon Him. Trusting in God you will not have to mourn because you have used sinful means to seek your desire, and you will find that He who is your Father rules all things for your good. First be made a child of God through faith in Jesus Christ, for salvation is through Him alone, and then you can trust your affairs in your Father's hands.

May the God of peace be with you. He is the God of peace for He created peace originally, He restores it though wars have broken out through sin, He preserves peace when it is made, and He shall perfect and consummate it at last. There is a peace which is false, which has no foundation, for there is no peace to the wicked, and if a man must forget God to have peace that peace is but writing on the sand. But the peace of God which passes all understanding is peace with God through the blood of the everlasting covenant, and a consequent peace in the little kingdom within. By that sacrifice a covenant of peace is established and sealed by atoning blood. Look toward Christ in whom God dwells, tell Him your grief, and you shall yet rejoice in the peace which He delights to bestow.

God has spoken, and what a mighty power the soul has in prayer when it pleads, Do as You have said. Whatever your burden may be, take what is written and appropriate it. If there be any way in you that is not according to His holy Word, and His Word has plainly shown us His will concerning salvation and concerning marriage as the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and the place of love within it, do not rest till you have turned from it. As it is written, O Israel return unto the Lord your God, for He is still your God. Confess all plainly before Him, for we have known those who found no peace for months until they humbled themselves and said, Lord, this is my sin, and then found forgiveness and rest.

Calling upon God in the day of trouble brings honor to Him in the very act and in His answer, for He has said, Call upon Me in the day of trouble and I will deliver you. And the very God of peace will sanctify you wholly, for holiness is peace. So we pray not for our own will but for yours to be conformed to His.

We pray that the living God would shine in your heart to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, that He would grant you wisdom to act uprightly, faith to trust Him entirely, peace with God through the blood of Christ, and that calm within which abides though sorrows surge around. May He deliver you, keep you, and make you to walk in His way, and may you afterwards glorify Him in your conduct. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
